Plumb Medic comes through for the win...again! My water heater was old and the piping was wonky. Nick installed a better water heater and brought all the wonky stuff up to code. I always recommend Plumb Medic for plumbing needs. They're awesome!
Cain Was super friendly and knowledgeable. He stayed late to get the job done and did great work Will Call again if needed and would definitely recommend
Plumb Medic is my go to for water leaks and other plumbing issues. I have used them on multiple occasions to solve tricky issues that are typical of older homes. They were quick to come out and assess and quick to complete the project. Cameron, Cole, and Corey were polite, diligent, and frankly good at what they do. Happily recommend Plumb Medic to others and will use them should I have a new issue arise.
HIGHLY recommend! So professional!! Arrived on time, great communication and went above and beyond!!! Very reasonably priced, too!!
Thank you so much for the great service. I called that morning because my toilet was continuously running, and you came out that day. You diagnosed the problem as too much pressure and fixed the problem, and got me back in code. Your professionalism and attention to detail are very much appreciated. I will definitely recommend you to anyone that needs a professional and reasonably priced plumbing service.
Completely thrilled with the service and the prompt responses. I called on the weekend and received a call back within 24 hours. They were honestly, professional and got us up to code! Thank You!
Nick replaced a wax ring on my son’s toilet. He said he was very friendly and did a great job!
I rely on reviews a good bit but rarely write them. The glowing reviews are what led me to call Cameron/Plumb Medic LLC to get an estimate for installing a new Toto toilet that I ordered and had sitting in boxes in my hallway to replace my 43 year old Briggs toilet, yes 43 years ! Cameron returned my call immediately, was very knowledgeable and gave me a price that beat 2 other local plumbing companies even offering a discount for 2 toilets at once. I only had the one but am expecting delivery tomorrow for the second one. Cain and Eric came the next day to install my toilet. They were down to earth, easy to talk to , professional hardworking guys that knew their stuff! Plus, they are animal lovers like myself. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure having them at my house. They installed my new Toto and I plan to try to request them for the second Toto install. After using numerous plumbers/plumbing companies through the years I am happy and relieved to have found Plumb Medic and plan on making them my "go to " plumbers. This may sound odd but I do love my Toto !!! Barb Above review was several years ago. This 2nd review is from March 13 2026. Cameron and Corey came and installed a new Bradford White water heater for me. They did an exceptional job with attention to detail. Cameron noticed water seeping from an old connection above his work, accessed it and made the repair at no extra cost. I asked about replacing my 40 plus year old handle on the main water shut off to house at back of basement. Cameron was thoughtful enough to suggest that he could move it lower so I could reach it without a ladder -hopefully I won’t ever need to. He replaced it with a ball valve handle which is superior to the old school round handle that exterior faucets use and gave me a discount since they were installing the water heater. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Plumb Medic , Cameron and crew are the BEST.
As always they come through with a reasonable price and get the work done. I have used them multiple times and they will always be my first call.
Cameron and team did excellent and extensive work through our house. They cared for our home like it was theirs. Highly recommend.
I am a repeat client. They are very professional. They quickly diagnose problems and present alternative solutions to each issue. They are a pleasure to work with.
Cameron and Corey were professional, freindly, knowledgeable and honest. I told them the issues I was having and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. They don’t cut corners, and fix the problem RIGHT , and take pride in their work.
Cain and Eric were schedule to come and replace a weird leaking outdoor faucet and replace some stuff in a bathroom. They did this in the usual timely and professional manner. They noticed an indoor leak and opened the wall to find a bigger problem. Thank goodness and a mitigation company was called. At the same time I had a sewer problem and they quickly got Cole out to ream and camera the sewer. Highly recommend this service.
Called Plumb Medic after I got a 1300 water bill assuming I had a leak. Cole came out in a POURING rainstorm. Checked our meter outside getting soaked several times after shutting off house water, and came back to tell me we had no leak and there was no charge. I was shocked he would come out and not charge me. I will use Plumb Medic in the future for every plumbing issue. That’s amazing customer service.
Fantastic customer service! Excellent communication, and follow up, prompt, professional and very helpful and patient answering my questions. I highly recommend them without reservation!
We encountered the dreaded, dirty rusty water in our sinks and tubs and knew we needed to replace our water heater. I called Plumb Medic and after a brief discussion we were scheduled for a new install 2 days later. They were on time, on budget and the area was spic-and-span when they finished up. The quality of the joints and connections of the new copper piping needed was impressive - it was like a work of art. They were friendly, professional, honest and super easy and comfortable to do business with. I can highly recommend Plumb Medic without reservation!!
We had a fantastic experience with them. They were prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and completed the repair efficiently. The pricing was fair with no surprises. It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but they absolutely delivered. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs!
Clean install. On time. Professional and fair Price. Highly recommended
I definitely recommend Plumb Medic. Water heater finally broke and they came out and replaced it the same day. Good pricing and great customer service
Cole was capable, quick, and knowledgeable. He did solid work for a good price.
Plumb Medic was great to work with. We had a water issue and they came out quickly, figured out exactly what was going on, and explained everything clearly along the way. The technician was patient, knowledgeable, and really on top of his work. He also referred us to a water remediation company to dry out the affected areas, which made the whole situation much easier to handle. I really appreciated the professionalism and friendliness they showed throughout the process. Overall, a very good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
The entire experience was great from start to finish. It started with a phone call with Cameron. He gave me an estimate and when I mentioned I was getting estimates from other businesses he provided me with several questions to ask them. Next step was an in person estimate. Cole came out, gave an estimate then emailed me what we had discussed. When Cole came out with one other person (I forget his name) they were early, finished the work soner than they said, cleaned up then the bill was what we were quoted. Great service, great people and reasonable prices. I would recommend them to everyone adn will use the again when we need them.
I called Plumb Medic after discovering water in my garage. The owner, Cameron, came to my home at 8:30pm and detected a slab leak behind the water heater. Repairs were made the next day. Cameron is very personable and professional. I highly recommend him and his team for all plumbing needs.
Such great service. Knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Will definitely call them anytime I need a plumber.
Have been using Plumb Medic last 2 years and very satisfied. Cole was excellent. Strongly recommend!
Plumb Medic is absolutely the best. I’ve used them for multiple services and repairs, and every experience has been consistently excellent. Their communication is clear and timely, and the entire team is professional from start to finish. They’re honest, knowledgeable, and I always feel confident the work is done right. Truly the only plumbing company I trust and continue to use. Highly recommend!
Quick and responsive, friendly and helpful. Best plumber experience ever. 100% recommend.
Cameron and the team did an awesome job with our replumb. In and out in a day, competitive pricing, and they were great to work with throughout the process. Highly recommend
One of the most professional and efficient companies I’ve ever worked with. They came in and diagnosed the problem and got to work immediately. I can’t recommend them enough.
I would highly recommend!!! Cain and Eric went way above and beyond to help us out in our situation. They were very professional, knowledgeable, kind and answered all of our questions and concerns! I can not recommend them enough!
Cameron and his team have helped me out many times over the years, from leaks to running toilets and most recently, the replacement of my water heater. They’re always prompt, thorough and super respectful, their quotes are clear and transparent and they do a wonderful job explaining everything so you know exactly what you’re getting. I never feel like I’m being upsold or pressured into anything, it genuinely feels like they care - like it’s a friend or family member helping out. Their work is great too! Will hire again and again 😁
Cain and his brother Eric did an amazing job. I called Cameron and he was able to get someone out quickly despite a busy schedule. Honest, professional, on time, and no unnecessary repairs. Plus excellent pricing. All around the best —the only plumbing company I recommend.
They came when they said they would and the plumber was very nice and took care of it in the most efficient way possible, so there wasn't any superfluous charges. I highly recommend this company!
Reliable, clean, quick, fair priced. Thank you Plumb Medic for helping us! 🙂
Cameron and Corey did a fantastic job replacing my tankless hot water heater. Everything was explained to me.
We have used Plumb Medic several times over the years for our plumbing needs. Cameron and his team have always been honest and professional. Recently we had a toilet installed in which Cameron himself came out and installed. He arrived within the window he promised given the busy holiday season, which is extremely rare these days. There were some defects with toilet we purchased from Home Depot, which caused the install to take longer than expected. He had mentioned prior to coming out that his kid had a Christmas program that day, but should be able to install the toilet in time. Due to the toilet defect I’m pretty sure he missed his kid’s performance, which killed me inside. I wished he would have told me, because I would have told him to go and come back tomorrow. This just proves Cameron’s dedication to his craft and his customers. We appreciate him and his family for his dedication and highly recommend him and his team to anyone who has plumbing needs. Thank you again Cameron and we wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Great response, communication, work and reasonable price. On site within a couple of hours for a service main break. Ask for Cole.
The gentleman that came was awesome! He explain everything he was looking at and how much it would cost beforehand. He told me if it was too much that he could break it down to what should he done first. He worked office fly and checked everything to make sure all was done correctly
Cameron and team are great guys and have always been good to finish projects and help in emergencies. I have used them to finish out a laundry room project, replace toilets, replace a water heater and fix a mainline break to my house. They have always been quick and fair! I have tried several companies and plumbmedic has always treated my emergencies as if it was their own home emergencies. Can’t go wrong with this company.
Great experience! Cole from plumb medic did a thorough assessment of the issue and explained everything in details.
Cam and Jesse went above and beyond for us. From the initial call they were professional and courteous while walking me through what needed to be done on my basement rough in. The bid was very fair and they showed up on time and completed the job quicker than I expected. No corners were cut and the job was meticulously done. They also replaced my hot water heater. I can’t say enough about the Plumb Medic. It is very refreshing to work with a company like theirs. I highly recommend Plumb Medic for any of your plumbing needs.
Used them 3 times, always show up on time, fixed the issue and their prices are great.

Plumbing Remodeling in Woodstock, GA
Plumbing remodeling involves significant changes to home water and waste systems. New fixture locations require pipe rerouting, new rough-in installation, and adjustments to drain, waste, and vent systems. Layout changes affect how water reaches fixtures and how waste flows from them. Code requirements apply to every aspect of remodel plumbing, from pipe sizing to fixture clearances. Plumb Medic plans projects carefully to support design goals while meeting all code requirements. Quality planning prevents problems during construction and inspection.
Kitchen remodeling typically involves significant plumbing work. New sink locations, dishwasher installations, refrigerator water connections, and pot filler additions all require plumbing work. Garbage disposal installation adds drain modifications. Island sinks present specific venting challenges requiring loop vents or air admittance valves. Gas line work for ranges or cooktops follows similar planning requirements. Plumb Medic handles every aspect of kitchen plumbing, coordinating with cabinet installers and countertop fabricators for proper rough-in dimensions.
Bathroom remodeling represents another major plumbing application. New tubs, showers, toilets, and vanities each have specific rough-in requirements. Shower system installations including thermostatic valves, multiple shower heads, and body sprays require detailed planning. Freestanding tubs need specific drain and supply line configurations. Tankless water heaters sometimes installed during bathroom remodels add gas line and venting requirements. Plumb Medic coordinates bathroom plumbing with tile work, drywall, and other finish trades.
Basement finishing projects often include plumbing rough-in for future or immediate fixture installation. Bathroom additions in basements require careful planning for drain and vent systems. Wet bars include sinks and sometimes ice makers needing supply and drain connections. Laundry rooms in basements need washer connections and floor drains. Plumb Medic handles basement plumbing from rough-in through finish, working with framers and other trades for proper coordination.
Whole-house renovations sometimes involve complete plumbing replacement alongside other major work. Repiping during whole-house remodels offers good opportunities to upgrade older systems while walls are open. New fixture locations throughout the home support modern living patterns. Tankless water heaters replace traditional tank units for efficiency improvements. Whole-house water filtration systems install during major renovations. Plumb Medic coordinates with general contractors throughout whole-house projects.
Room additions extend plumbing to new spaces. New bathrooms in additions require complete plumbing rough-in including supply lines, drains, vents, and fixture installations. Laundry rooms or wet bars in additions add specific plumbing needs. Heat pump water heaters sometimes install in addition utility spaces. Outdoor kitchens with sinks and gas connections extend plumbing outside conditioned spaces. Plumb Medic plans addition plumbing during early framing stages for clean installations.
Permit and inspection requirements affect remodel plumbing significantly. Most jurisdictions require permits for plumbing work during remodels. Rough-in inspections happen before walls close, verifying proper installation. Final inspections occur after fixtures install and connections complete. Plumb Medic handles permits and coordinates inspections as standard practice. Our installations consistently pass inspection because we install correctly the first time. Documentation supports warranty coverage and future home sales.
Code compliance has evolved significantly over recent decades. Anti-scald protection on shower valves prevents burn injuries. Cross-connection control prevents potable water contamination. Adequate venting prevents sewer gas issues. Water-efficient fixtures meet federal and local requirements. Accessible features support universal design when included. Plumb Medic stays current on all code requirements and applies them correctly throughout remodel projects.

Most Common Plumbing Remodeling Questions
Plumbing remodeling raises significant questions about scope, cost, and coordination with other project elements. Below are clear answers to the questions Woodstock homeowners ask most often before starting remodel projects.
Plumbing remodel costs vary significantly based on project scope and complexity. Kitchen plumbing during remodels typically runs $1,500 to $5,000 for moving fixtures, adding water lines, and installing new appliance connections. Bathroom plumbing for typical remodels ranges from $2,500 to $8,000 depending on fixture changes and layout modifications. Master bathroom remodels with custom shower systems and freestanding tubs can reach $8,000 to $15,000 in plumbing work. Whole-house plumbing during major renovations runs $5,000 to $20,000 or more depending on scope.
Several factors affect remodel plumbing costs significantly. Fixture relocation affects scope, with major layout changes requiring more pipe rerouting than fixture replacement in existing locations. Material choice affects costs, with PEX often providing best value compared to copper. Custom features like multiple shower heads, body sprays, and pot fillers add equipment and labor costs. Accessibility plays a major role, with finished space work requiring more drywall removal than open framing during major renovations. Each factor gets evaluated during project planning.
The diagnostic fee is waived when we handle the remodel work, keeping costs lower. Wisetack financing covers remodel plumbing through manageable monthly payments. Military and senior discounts apply to all remodel services. Plumb Medic provides detailed estimates that break down materials and labor for transparency. Coordination with general contractors and other trades supports overall project success. Investment in quality plumbing during remodels pays off through decades of reliable performance. Customer satisfaction is built on quality work delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
Plumbing work happens at specific stages during remodel projects for proper sequencing with other trades. Demolition removes existing plumbing fixtures and walls, exposing existing plumbing for evaluation and modification. Rough-in plumbing follows demolition, installing new supply lines, drains, and vents through framing before walls close. Inspection occurs at rough-in stage to verify proper installation. After inspection, drywall, tile, and other finishes proceed.
Several factors affect plumbing timing in remodels. Coordination with framing trades ensures plumbing fits properly within structural elements. Electrical and HVAC work often happens parallel to plumbing rough-in, with all three trades sharing limited space within walls. Tile work in showers and tubs follows plumbing rough-in. Cabinet installation precedes final fixture installation in most cases. Final plumbing including fixture installation, connection, and testing happens near project completion.
Plumb Medic coordinates plumbing scheduling with general contractors and other trades. Communication throughout projects keeps plumbing aligned with overall schedules. Sometimes plumbing crews return multiple times for different project stages. Rough-in visits during framing, inspection scheduling, and final installation each have specific timing. Customer benefits include smooth project flow without delays from miscoordinated plumbing work. Plumb Medic regularly works on multi-trade renovation projects throughout the Woodstock area.
Yes, plumbing remodels require permits in nearly every jurisdiction including Woodstock and Cherokee County. Permits ensure work meets code requirements and gets inspected by qualified officials. Skipping permits creates problems during home sales, may affect insurance coverage, and can lead to required reinstallation. The permit process is straightforward when handled by licensed contractors. Plumb Medic pulls permits as part of standard remodel procedures.
Several specific requirements typically apply to remodel plumbing. Pipe materials must meet code specifications. Fixture clearances comply with building codes. Anti-scald protection on shower valves protects against burn injuries. Cross-connection control prevents contamination. Adequate venting prevents sewer gas issues. Water-efficient fixtures meet federal and local requirements. Inspections happen at multiple project stages, including rough-in before walls close and final after fixtures install.
Unpermitted remodel plumbing creates significant problems beyond legal issues. Home buyers and inspectors flag unpermitted work, which can derail sales or reduce offers significantly. Insurance companies may deny claims related to unpermitted work. Future repair work may face complications when work history cannot be verified. Minor cost savings from skipping permits create major financial risks. Plumb Medic includes permit costs in transparent pricing. Documentation provides records for warranty and home sale purposes.
Plumbing remodel timelines vary widely based on project scope. Single bathroom remodel plumbing typically requires 3 to 7 days of plumber time spread across the project duration. Major kitchen remodel plumbing usually takes 2 to 5 days. Whole-house renovation plumbing can extend across several weeks of intermittent work. Most days involve specific tasks rather than continuous all-day plumbing presence. Plumb Medic provides detailed scheduling during project planning.
Several factors affect actual remodel plumbing time. Project scope affects total hours needed. Fixture complexity influences installation time. Coordination with other trades sometimes creates delays when other work runs behind schedule. Inspection scheduling affects project flow, with rough-in inspection required before walls close. Final installation and testing happens near project completion. Each project develops its own rhythm based on specific circumstances.
Plumb Medic communicates schedules clearly throughout remodel projects. Daily updates keep customers informed about work performed and upcoming activities. Schedule changes get communicated promptly when needed. Coordination with general contractors and other trades supports overall project timing. Customer benefits include predictable progress and clear expectations. Quality work takes appropriate time, but we work efficiently to keep projects on schedule. Customers consistently report satisfaction with both project execution and communication throughout remodels.
Yes, layout changes are common during remodel projects and represent one of the main benefits of major renovations. Moving sinks, toilets, and tubs to new locations is possible during remodels when walls are open. Kitchen islands with sinks become feasible during full kitchen renovations. New bathroom locations in basement finishes or additions create entirely new plumbing routes. Each change requires planning to address rough-in requirements, drain slopes, and venting.
Several factors affect feasibility of specific layout changes. Drain locations have significant constraints since drains must slope toward main sewer or septic connections. Moving drains downward typically works better than moving them upward or significantly horizontally. Supply lines have more flexibility since pressurized water can run various routes. Venting requirements affect where fixtures can locate efficiently. Structural elements sometimes restrict pipe routing through specific spaces. Plumb Medic evaluates feasibility during early planning stages.
Plumb Medic discusses layout options honestly during project planning. Sometimes desired changes face technical challenges that affect cost or feasibility. Alternative configurations sometimes achieve design goals more efficiently than initial concepts. Our experience helps customers understand what works well versus what creates problems. Documentation of plumbing rough-in supports future maintenance and home sales. Customer benefits include informed decisions about layout changes based on technical realities rather than discovering limitations during construction.
Several upgrades make sense during remodel projects when walls are already open. Repiping older plumbing systems addresses aging materials proactively while access is available. Polybutylene replacement is particularly valuable due to known failure problems. Galvanized steel pipe replacement eliminates discolored water and pressure problems. Tankless water heater installation provides energy savings and unlimited hot water. Each upgrade pays off through years of improved performance.
Several specific upgrades worth considering during remodels. Pressure regulators address high incoming pressure that stresses plumbing. Whole-house filtration improves water quality throughout the home. Water softeners protect plumbing and appliances from hard water damage. Recirculation systems provide instant hot water at distant fixtures. Smart leak detection systems prevent water damage from undetected leaks. Each upgrade has specific benefits and costs.
Plumb Medic recommends appropriate upgrades during remodel planning rather than pushing unnecessary additions. Water quality testing identifies specific issues that filtration would address. Pressure measurement identifies regulator needs. System age and material evaluation guides repipe recommendations. Customer preferences and budget influence final decisions. The waived diagnostic fee on remodel work keeps planning costs manageable. Wisetack financing makes comprehensive upgrades affordable through manageable monthly payments. Customers benefit from professional guidance on which upgrades make sense for their specific situation.
Yes, quality plumbing remodeling typically increases home value and improves marketability. Kitchen and bathroom remodels consistently rank among the best home improvement investments for return on value. Modern fixtures, updated layouts, and improved water efficiency appeal to buyers. Documentation of professional remodel work supports buyer confidence during sales. Code-compliant work with permits and inspections protects sale transactions.
Several factors affect value contribution from remodel plumbing. Market conditions in specific neighborhoods influence buyer preferences and willingness to pay for upgrades. Higher-end neighborhoods often value premium fixtures and luxury features more than budget markets. Quality of work matters significantly, with poor remodels sometimes reducing value below pre-remodel levels. Documentation quality affects buyer confidence. Inspector findings during sales transactions can confirm or question remodel quality.
Plumb Medic provides comprehensive documentation supporting future home sales. Photos of completed work, permit records, and warranty documentation help future buyers understand the system. Customers report quality remodel work often pays back significant portions of investment through faster sales and stronger offers. Insurance company requirements sometimes affect buyer financing options, making code-compliant work valuable beyond just aesthetic appeal. Our quality work and warranty coverage build buyer confidence. Customers consistently report satisfaction with remodel outcomes years after project completion.
Demolition during remodels frequently reveals plumbing problems that walls hide normally. Hidden leaks behind walls show water damage to framing or insulation. Outdated or problematic pipe materials like polybutylene or galvanized steel become visible. Improper installations from previous work surface during demolition. Code violations from older installations need correction to meet current standards. Each discovery affects remodel scope and cost.
Several specific issues commonly appear during remodel work. Old shutoff valves that have not operated in years often leak or fail to close fully. Damaged or improperly sized drain lines cause flow problems. Vent stack issues create slow drains and sewer odors. Hot and cold water lines sometimes cross or reverse, requiring correction. Pressure regulator problems sometimes appear when older systems get evaluated. Plumb Medic identifies and addresses these issues during remodel planning when possible.
Plumb Medic discusses uncovered issues honestly with customers as they appear. Sometimes corrections add to remodel scope and cost beyond initial estimates. Other times simple solutions address problems without major budget impact. Documentation of discovered conditions supports any insurance claims for related water damage. Customer communication throughout projects keeps everyone informed about findings and decisions. The waived diagnostic fee on additional work makes addressing problems affordable. Quality remodel work addresses both planned changes and unexpected issues that demolition reveals.
