Plumb Medic comes through for the win...again! My water heater was old and the piping was wonky. Nick installed a better water heater and brought all the wonky stuff up to code. I always recommend Plumb Medic for plumbing needs. They're awesome!
Cain Was super friendly and knowledgeable. He stayed late to get the job done and did great work Will Call again if needed and would definitely recommend
Plumb Medic is my go to for water leaks and other plumbing issues. I have used them on multiple occasions to solve tricky issues that are typical of older homes. They were quick to come out and assess and quick to complete the project. Cameron, Cole, and Corey were polite, diligent, and frankly good at what they do. Happily recommend Plumb Medic to others and will use them should I have a new issue arise.
HIGHLY recommend! So professional!! Arrived on time, great communication and went above and beyond!!! Very reasonably priced, too!!
Thank you so much for the great service. I called that morning because my toilet was continuously running, and you came out that day. You diagnosed the problem as too much pressure and fixed the problem, and got me back in code. Your professionalism and attention to detail are very much appreciated. I will definitely recommend you to anyone that needs a professional and reasonably priced plumbing service.
Completely thrilled with the service and the prompt responses. I called on the weekend and received a call back within 24 hours. They were honestly, professional and got us up to code! Thank You!
Nick replaced a wax ring on my son’s toilet. He said he was very friendly and did a great job!
I rely on reviews a good bit but rarely write them. The glowing reviews are what led me to call Cameron/Plumb Medic LLC to get an estimate for installing a new Toto toilet that I ordered and had sitting in boxes in my hallway to replace my 43 year old Briggs toilet, yes 43 years ! Cameron returned my call immediately, was very knowledgeable and gave me a price that beat 2 other local plumbing companies even offering a discount for 2 toilets at once. I only had the one but am expecting delivery tomorrow for the second one. Cain and Eric came the next day to install my toilet. They were down to earth, easy to talk to , professional hardworking guys that knew their stuff! Plus, they are animal lovers like myself. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure having them at my house. They installed my new Toto and I plan to try to request them for the second Toto install. After using numerous plumbers/plumbing companies through the years I am happy and relieved to have found Plumb Medic and plan on making them my "go to " plumbers. This may sound odd but I do love my Toto !!! Barb Above review was several years ago. This 2nd review is from March 13 2026. Cameron and Corey came and installed a new Bradford White water heater for me. They did an exceptional job with attention to detail. Cameron noticed water seeping from an old connection above his work, accessed it and made the repair at no extra cost. I asked about replacing my 40 plus year old handle on the main water shut off to house at back of basement. Cameron was thoughtful enough to suggest that he could move it lower so I could reach it without a ladder -hopefully I won’t ever need to. He replaced it with a ball valve handle which is superior to the old school round handle that exterior faucets use and gave me a discount since they were installing the water heater. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Plumb Medic , Cameron and crew are the BEST.
As always they come through with a reasonable price and get the work done. I have used them multiple times and they will always be my first call.
Cameron and team did excellent and extensive work through our house. They cared for our home like it was theirs. Highly recommend.
I am a repeat client. They are very professional. They quickly diagnose problems and present alternative solutions to each issue. They are a pleasure to work with.
Cameron and Corey were professional, freindly, knowledgeable and honest. I told them the issues I was having and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. They don’t cut corners, and fix the problem RIGHT , and take pride in their work.
Cain and Eric were schedule to come and replace a weird leaking outdoor faucet and replace some stuff in a bathroom. They did this in the usual timely and professional manner. They noticed an indoor leak and opened the wall to find a bigger problem. Thank goodness and a mitigation company was called. At the same time I had a sewer problem and they quickly got Cole out to ream and camera the sewer. Highly recommend this service.
Called Plumb Medic after I got a 1300 water bill assuming I had a leak. Cole came out in a POURING rainstorm. Checked our meter outside getting soaked several times after shutting off house water, and came back to tell me we had no leak and there was no charge. I was shocked he would come out and not charge me. I will use Plumb Medic in the future for every plumbing issue. That’s amazing customer service.
Fantastic customer service! Excellent communication, and follow up, prompt, professional and very helpful and patient answering my questions. I highly recommend them without reservation!
We encountered the dreaded, dirty rusty water in our sinks and tubs and knew we needed to replace our water heater. I called Plumb Medic and after a brief discussion we were scheduled for a new install 2 days later. They were on time, on budget and the area was spic-and-span when they finished up. The quality of the joints and connections of the new copper piping needed was impressive - it was like a work of art. They were friendly, professional, honest and super easy and comfortable to do business with. I can highly recommend Plumb Medic without reservation!!
We had a fantastic experience with them. They were prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and completed the repair efficiently. The pricing was fair with no surprises. It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but they absolutely delivered. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs!
Clean install. On time. Professional and fair Price. Highly recommended
I definitely recommend Plumb Medic. Water heater finally broke and they came out and replaced it the same day. Good pricing and great customer service
Cole was capable, quick, and knowledgeable. He did solid work for a good price.
Plumb Medic was great to work with. We had a water issue and they came out quickly, figured out exactly what was going on, and explained everything clearly along the way. The technician was patient, knowledgeable, and really on top of his work. He also referred us to a water remediation company to dry out the affected areas, which made the whole situation much easier to handle. I really appreciated the professionalism and friendliness they showed throughout the process. Overall, a very good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
The entire experience was great from start to finish. It started with a phone call with Cameron. He gave me an estimate and when I mentioned I was getting estimates from other businesses he provided me with several questions to ask them. Next step was an in person estimate. Cole came out, gave an estimate then emailed me what we had discussed. When Cole came out with one other person (I forget his name) they were early, finished the work soner than they said, cleaned up then the bill was what we were quoted. Great service, great people and reasonable prices. I would recommend them to everyone adn will use the again when we need them.
I called Plumb Medic after discovering water in my garage. The owner, Cameron, came to my home at 8:30pm and detected a slab leak behind the water heater. Repairs were made the next day. Cameron is very personable and professional. I highly recommend him and his team for all plumbing needs.
Such great service. Knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Will definitely call them anytime I need a plumber.
Have been using Plumb Medic last 2 years and very satisfied. Cole was excellent. Strongly recommend!
Plumb Medic is absolutely the best. I’ve used them for multiple services and repairs, and every experience has been consistently excellent. Their communication is clear and timely, and the entire team is professional from start to finish. They’re honest, knowledgeable, and I always feel confident the work is done right. Truly the only plumbing company I trust and continue to use. Highly recommend!
Quick and responsive, friendly and helpful. Best plumber experience ever. 100% recommend.
Cameron and the team did an awesome job with our replumb. In and out in a day, competitive pricing, and they were great to work with throughout the process. Highly recommend
One of the most professional and efficient companies I’ve ever worked with. They came in and diagnosed the problem and got to work immediately. I can’t recommend them enough.
I would highly recommend!!! Cain and Eric went way above and beyond to help us out in our situation. They were very professional, knowledgeable, kind and answered all of our questions and concerns! I can not recommend them enough!
Cameron and his team have helped me out many times over the years, from leaks to running toilets and most recently, the replacement of my water heater. They’re always prompt, thorough and super respectful, their quotes are clear and transparent and they do a wonderful job explaining everything so you know exactly what you’re getting. I never feel like I’m being upsold or pressured into anything, it genuinely feels like they care - like it’s a friend or family member helping out. Their work is great too! Will hire again and again 😁
Cain and his brother Eric did an amazing job. I called Cameron and he was able to get someone out quickly despite a busy schedule. Honest, professional, on time, and no unnecessary repairs. Plus excellent pricing. All around the best —the only plumbing company I recommend.
They came when they said they would and the plumber was very nice and took care of it in the most efficient way possible, so there wasn't any superfluous charges. I highly recommend this company!
Reliable, clean, quick, fair priced. Thank you Plumb Medic for helping us! 🙂
Cameron and Corey did a fantastic job replacing my tankless hot water heater. Everything was explained to me.
We have used Plumb Medic several times over the years for our plumbing needs. Cameron and his team have always been honest and professional. Recently we had a toilet installed in which Cameron himself came out and installed. He arrived within the window he promised given the busy holiday season, which is extremely rare these days. There were some defects with toilet we purchased from Home Depot, which caused the install to take longer than expected. He had mentioned prior to coming out that his kid had a Christmas program that day, but should be able to install the toilet in time. Due to the toilet defect I’m pretty sure he missed his kid’s performance, which killed me inside. I wished he would have told me, because I would have told him to go and come back tomorrow. This just proves Cameron’s dedication to his craft and his customers. We appreciate him and his family for his dedication and highly recommend him and his team to anyone who has plumbing needs. Thank you again Cameron and we wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Great response, communication, work and reasonable price. On site within a couple of hours for a service main break. Ask for Cole.
The gentleman that came was awesome! He explain everything he was looking at and how much it would cost beforehand. He told me if it was too much that he could break it down to what should he done first. He worked office fly and checked everything to make sure all was done correctly
Cameron and team are great guys and have always been good to finish projects and help in emergencies. I have used them to finish out a laundry room project, replace toilets, replace a water heater and fix a mainline break to my house. They have always been quick and fair! I have tried several companies and plumbmedic has always treated my emergencies as if it was their own home emergencies. Can’t go wrong with this company.
Great experience! Cole from plumb medic did a thorough assessment of the issue and explained everything in details.
Cam and Jesse went above and beyond for us. From the initial call they were professional and courteous while walking me through what needed to be done on my basement rough in. The bid was very fair and they showed up on time and completed the job quicker than I expected. No corners were cut and the job was meticulously done. They also replaced my hot water heater. I can’t say enough about the Plumb Medic. It is very refreshing to work with a company like theirs. I highly recommend Plumb Medic for any of your plumbing needs.
Used them 3 times, always show up on time, fixed the issue and their prices are great.

Sewer Line Inspection in Woodstock, GA
Video camera inspection has transformed sewer line diagnostics over recent decades. Cameras travel through pipes on flexible cables, sending live video to monitors that customers can view alongside our technicians. Pipe interior conditions become visible without any excavation work. Root intrusion appears as masses growing into pipes through cracks or joints. Cracks and breaks show as visible damage to pipe walls. Joint separations reveal gaps between pipe sections. Buildup of grease, scale, or debris appears as restrictions to pipe diameter. Each finding guides repair recommendations.
Locator equipment determines camera position from above ground accurately. Electronic transmitters in camera heads emit signals that surface receivers detect. The receiver identifies camera depth and horizontal position with several inches of accuracy. This precise location capability prevents unnecessary excavation when repairs become needed. Customers benefit from targeted repair work rather than exploratory digging. Documentation of problem locations supports planning and pricing for repair projects.
Several specific findings commonly appear during sewer inspections. Tree root intrusion is the most frequent problem in older clay, concrete, and cast iron pipes. Roots find tiny cracks or separated joints, growing inside seeking water and nutrients. Dense root masses develop over time, eventually blocking flow completely. Cable cleaning clears immediate blockages but does not stop regrowth without addressing underlying pipe damage. Plumb Medic identifies root intrusion locations precisely for targeted repair planning.
Pipe cracks and breaks appear as visible damage to pipe interior surfaces. Small cracks may not block flow immediately but allow root intrusion and gradual deterioration. Larger breaks cause obvious flow problems and may collapse the pipe completely. Older clay and concrete pipes are particularly susceptible to cracking from ground movement and pressure changes. Cast iron pipes can develop cracks from corrosion or impact damage. Each crack pattern guides repair approach decisions.
Belly sections, where pipes sag below proper grade, hold water and accumulate waste. The depression creates a low spot that traps debris instead of allowing it to flow through. Bellies result from settling, improper original installation, or ground movement under the pipe. Cleaning clears immediate buildup but does not eliminate the underlying low spot. Permanent solutions involve excavating and re-grading the affected section. Plumb Medic identifies belly sections during inspection and discusses repair options.
Joint separations occur when pipe sections shift apart over time. Older clay and cast iron pipes used various joint designs that gradually fail over decades. Separated joints allow root intrusion and ground water infiltration. Sometimes joints just need resealing, while other situations require pipe replacement. Camera inspection clearly identifies joint problems for accurate diagnosis. Repairs can be targeted to specific affected areas in many cases.
Pipe coatings and linings show their own characteristics during inspection. Older cast iron pipes often have internal corrosion that creates rough surfaces and scale buildup. Clay pipes may show interior wear patterns from decades of waste flow. Cement linings on cast iron may be deteriorating in older installations. Plumb Medic recognizes these patterns during inspection and explains their significance. Sometimes coatings require attention separately from underlying pipe condition.

Professional sewer inspection produces accurate diagnoses that DIY methods cannot match. Plumb Medic technicians use commercial-grade cameras and locating equipment that homeowners cannot rent. Interpreting camera footage requires experience to distinguish actual problems from visual artifacts or normal pipe conditions. Our team has performed thousands of inspections, building knowledge that produces reliable conclusions. Inspection findings support major decisions about repair scope, replacement timing, and home purchases. Insurance claims often require documented professional inspections. Home sales sometimes need inspection reports for buyer confidence or required disclosures. The waived diagnostic fee on repairs, military and senior discounts, and Wisetack financing make professional service affordable. Plumb Medic provides written reports and video documentation that customers can share with insurance, real estate, or other professionals. Calling a licensed plumber for sewer inspection produces actionable information that protects your investment and supports informed decisions.
Most Common Sewer Line Inspection Questions
Sewer line inspections raise practical questions about cost, timing, and what the process reveals. Below are clear answers to the questions Woodstock homeowners ask most often before scheduling inspection service.
Sewer line inspection costs typically range from $200 to $500 for residential properties. Standard inspections of accessible sewer lines from the home to municipal connections fall in the lower range. Larger properties with longer sewer runs or multiple inspection points cost more. Real estate inspections during home sales sometimes have specific pricing for that purpose. Plumb Medic provides upfront pricing based on the specific situation.
Several factors affect inspection costs. Access to existing cleanouts simplifies inspection significantly, while inspections requiring temporary access creation cost more. Length of sewer line affects time required for thorough inspection. Multiple inspection points for branched systems add to project scope. Documentation level affects pricing, with detailed reports for insurance or real estate purposes sometimes priced separately from basic inspections. Each situation gets evaluated honestly during pricing.
The diagnostic fee is waived when we handle resulting repairs, which means inspection costs effectively apply toward repair work for customers needing service. Real estate inspections without subsequent repair work get charged at standard rates. Wisetack financing covers comprehensive inspection plus repair projects. Military and senior discounts apply to inspection services. Insurance coverage sometimes applies to inspections related to claims. Plumb Medic provides documentation supporting any reimbursement processes. Honest pricing has earned us strong reputation across Woodstock.
Several situations warrant sewer line inspection. Recurring drain backups suggest main line problems that camera inspection can identify. Slow drains throughout the home, multiple drains affected simultaneously, or gurgling sounds all indicate possible sewer issues. Tree roots near sewer lines warrant proactive inspection in older homes. Strange smells in the yard or wet patches over sewer line routes suggest problems. Each symptom deserves prompt investigation.
Real estate transactions often include sewer inspections as part of home buying due diligence. Buyers benefit from understanding sewer line condition before purchase commitments. Sellers sometimes commission inspections to address potential buyer concerns proactively. Lenders occasionally require inspections for older properties or specific loan types. Insurance applications sometimes include sewer condition questions. Plumb Medic provides inspection documentation suitable for these purposes.
Routine inspection makes sense for older homes and properties with mature trees near sewer lines. Inspection every 3 to 5 years catches developing problems before they cause emergencies. Newer homes generally need less frequent inspection unless symptoms develop. Plumb Medic schedules inspections quickly, often within a day or two of contact. The waived diagnostic fee on repairs encourages prompt response to identified issues. Documentation of inspection findings supports planning for future maintenance or replacement when appropriate.
Sewer camera inspections reveal pipe interior condition with remarkable detail. Tree root intrusion appears as visible roots growing into pipes through cracks or joints. Mass and density of root infiltration become clear through camera footage. Pipe cracks and breaks show as obvious damage to pipe walls. Crack severity and location guide repair recommendations. Joint separations reveal gaps between pipe sections that allow root intrusion or ground water infiltration.
Several other findings commonly appear during inspections. Belly sections show as low spots holding water and accumulating debris. Pipe scale and corrosion appear as rough interior surfaces in older metal pipes. Buildup of grease, soap scum, or other debris shows as restrictions to pipe diameter. Foreign objects sometimes appear when items have been flushed inappropriately. Each finding guides specific repair or maintenance recommendations.
Plumb Medic provides written reports and video documentation following each inspection. Reports describe findings in plain language with severity assessments. Video footage shows specific problems for customer review. Locator information identifies problem positions for repair planning. Recommendations explain options for addressing identified issues. Customers can share reports with insurance, real estate professionals, or family members involved in decisions. Documentation provides records for warranty purposes and home sales. Our inspection process produces actionable information rather than vague observations.
Sewer cameras consist of waterproof video heads attached to flexible push cables. The cable feeds into the sewer line through existing cleanouts or other access points. Video signals travel through the cable to monitors where customers and technicians watch live footage. Camera lights illuminate the pipe interior as the camera advances through the line. Modern systems record video for later review and documentation purposes.
Cable lengths typically range from 100 to 200 feet for residential applications, sufficient for most home sewer lines. Camera heads come in various sizes for different pipe diameters. Smaller heads navigate tight bends and smaller pipes, while larger heads provide better lighting and image quality in main sewer lines. Self-leveling features keep video oriented correctly as the camera travels through pipes. Each camera component contributes to inspection effectiveness.
Locator equipment uses electronic transmitters in camera heads paired with surface receivers. The receiver detects the transmitter signal, identifying camera depth and horizontal position. This capability allows precise location of identified problems for repair planning. Plumb Medic uses quality camera and locator systems that produce reliable results. Documentation features capture screenshots and video at significant points for inclusion in inspection reports. Customers benefit from clear visual evidence of pipe condition rather than vague descriptions of unseen problems.
Properly performed camera inspections do not damage pipes. The cameras and cables are designed specifically for sewer environment use, with waterproof construction and appropriate flexibility. Cable diameter is small relative to pipe interior, leaving plenty of clearance for camera passage. Push cables flex around bends without forcing pipes. Plumb Medic technicians have the experience to navigate cameras through pipes without causing damage.
Several precautions protect pipes during inspections. Cameras enter pipes only through proper access points like cleanouts or removed fittings. Forcing cameras through unsuitable openings can damage both equipment and pipes. Steady advancement at appropriate speed prevents cable kinking or pipe stress. Withdrawal must be smooth to prevent equipment from becoming stuck or causing damage. Each inspection follows established procedures.
Plumb Medic occasionally identifies pipe condition during inspection that prevents complete camera passage. Severely deteriorated sections may not safely accommodate camera advancement. Heavy root intrusion sometimes blocks camera passage entirely. In these situations, we stop inspection at the problem point rather than risk equipment damage or further pipe deterioration. Limited inspection still provides valuable information about pipe condition leading up to the problem area. Our approach prioritizes safe inspection over complete pipe traversal in challenging situations.
Sewer inspection during home purchase provides valuable information that protects buyers from expensive surprises. Sewer line replacement can cost $5,000 to $15,000 or more, representing significant financial exposure. Standard home inspections rarely include sewer line camera inspection, missing problems that may exist underground. Older homes with mature trees particularly benefit from sewer inspection during purchase due diligence.
Several specific situations make sewer inspection especially important during purchase. Homes built before 1980 often have older clay, concrete, or cast iron sewer lines approaching end of useful life. Properties with large mature trees near sewer line routes face elevated root intrusion risk. Recent reports of plumbing problems or backups warrant investigation. Areas with known sewer line issues from soil conditions or municipal main problems suggest inspection value. Each factor argues for inspection investment.
Plumb Medic performs real estate sewer inspections regularly throughout Woodstock and Cherokee County. Our reports document findings clearly for buyer review. Negotiation leverage often comes from inspection findings, with sellers sometimes addressing problems before closing. Repair cost estimates help buyers make informed decisions about purchase prices. The inspection cost is small compared to potential surprise repair costs after closing. Customers consistently report that inspections during purchase prevented major financial issues. The waived diagnostic fee on subsequent repairs makes inspections valuable for both purchase decisions and any needed work.
Most sewer line inspections take 30 to 60 minutes from arrival to completion. Simple inspections of accessible sewer lines often finish in 30 to 45 minutes. More complex situations involving multiple lines, locator work, or detailed documentation extend to an hour or longer. Plumb Medic provides accurate time estimates during scheduling.
Several factors affect inspection duration. Access through existing cleanouts speeds inspection significantly compared to creating temporary access. Length of sewer line affects camera traversal time. Multiple inspection points for branched systems add time. Locator work for identified problems adds 15 to 30 minutes typically. Documentation including written reports and video review extends total appointment time. Each factor gets considered during scheduling.
Plumb Medic schedules inspections efficiently to provide thorough service. Our technicians take time to perform complete inspections rather than rushing. Customers can watch the inspection live and ask questions throughout the process. Many customers learn useful information about their sewer system during inspections. The total time investment produces actionable information that supports important decisions about repair, maintenance, or property purchase. Annual or biennial inspections fit easily into homeowner maintenance schedules. The investment pays off through prevented emergencies and informed decisions.
Finding problems during inspection enables proactive response before emergencies develop. Plumb Medic explains findings in plain language with severity assessments. Critical issues requiring immediate attention get flagged with explanations of risks involved. Problems needing repair soon are identified with recommended timelines. Routine maintenance items appear with suggested intervals. Customers receive complete information for decision-making.
Several response options exist for identified problems. Spot repairs address specific localized issues like cracked sections or root intrusion at particular joints. Hydro jetting cleans pipes thoroughly and may extend service life of marginal pipes. Pipe lining provides trenchless repair for many situations, creating new pipe within old one. Full replacement makes sense for severely deteriorated systems or those approaching end of life. Each approach has specific applications and costs that customers can evaluate.
Plumb Medic provides upfront pricing for any recommended work. The waived diagnostic fee on repairs encourages prompt response to identified issues. Wisetack financing covers larger projects through manageable monthly payments. Military and senior discounts apply to all repair work. Insurance coverage sometimes applies to specific situations, with documentation supporting claim processing. Our recommendations reflect honest assessment of what works best for each situation rather than always pushing the most expensive option. Customers benefit from professional guidance on prioritizing and scheduling work based on severity and budget.
