Plumb Medic comes through for the win...again! My water heater was old and the piping was wonky. Nick installed a better water heater and brought all the wonky stuff up to code. I always recommend Plumb Medic for plumbing needs. They're awesome!
Cain Was super friendly and knowledgeable. He stayed late to get the job done and did great work Will Call again if needed and would definitely recommend
Plumb Medic is my go to for water leaks and other plumbing issues. I have used them on multiple occasions to solve tricky issues that are typical of older homes. They were quick to come out and assess and quick to complete the project. Cameron, Cole, and Corey were polite, diligent, and frankly good at what they do. Happily recommend Plumb Medic to others and will use them should I have a new issue arise.
HIGHLY recommend! So professional!! Arrived on time, great communication and went above and beyond!!! Very reasonably priced, too!!
Thank you so much for the great service. I called that morning because my toilet was continuously running, and you came out that day. You diagnosed the problem as too much pressure and fixed the problem, and got me back in code. Your professionalism and attention to detail are very much appreciated. I will definitely recommend you to anyone that needs a professional and reasonably priced plumbing service.
Completely thrilled with the service and the prompt responses. I called on the weekend and received a call back within 24 hours. They were honestly, professional and got us up to code! Thank You!
Nick replaced a wax ring on my son’s toilet. He said he was very friendly and did a great job!
I rely on reviews a good bit but rarely write them. The glowing reviews are what led me to call Cameron/Plumb Medic LLC to get an estimate for installing a new Toto toilet that I ordered and had sitting in boxes in my hallway to replace my 43 year old Briggs toilet, yes 43 years ! Cameron returned my call immediately, was very knowledgeable and gave me a price that beat 2 other local plumbing companies even offering a discount for 2 toilets at once. I only had the one but am expecting delivery tomorrow for the second one. Cain and Eric came the next day to install my toilet. They were down to earth, easy to talk to , professional hardworking guys that knew their stuff! Plus, they are animal lovers like myself. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure having them at my house. They installed my new Toto and I plan to try to request them for the second Toto install. After using numerous plumbers/plumbing companies through the years I am happy and relieved to have found Plumb Medic and plan on making them my "go to " plumbers. This may sound odd but I do love my Toto !!! Barb Above review was several years ago. This 2nd review is from March 13 2026. Cameron and Corey came and installed a new Bradford White water heater for me. They did an exceptional job with attention to detail. Cameron noticed water seeping from an old connection above his work, accessed it and made the repair at no extra cost. I asked about replacing my 40 plus year old handle on the main water shut off to house at back of basement. Cameron was thoughtful enough to suggest that he could move it lower so I could reach it without a ladder -hopefully I won’t ever need to. He replaced it with a ball valve handle which is superior to the old school round handle that exterior faucets use and gave me a discount since they were installing the water heater. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Plumb Medic , Cameron and crew are the BEST.
As always they come through with a reasonable price and get the work done. I have used them multiple times and they will always be my first call.
Cameron and team did excellent and extensive work through our house. They cared for our home like it was theirs. Highly recommend.
I am a repeat client. They are very professional. They quickly diagnose problems and present alternative solutions to each issue. They are a pleasure to work with.
Cameron and Corey were professional, freindly, knowledgeable and honest. I told them the issues I was having and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. They don’t cut corners, and fix the problem RIGHT , and take pride in their work.
Cain and Eric were schedule to come and replace a weird leaking outdoor faucet and replace some stuff in a bathroom. They did this in the usual timely and professional manner. They noticed an indoor leak and opened the wall to find a bigger problem. Thank goodness and a mitigation company was called. At the same time I had a sewer problem and they quickly got Cole out to ream and camera the sewer. Highly recommend this service.
Called Plumb Medic after I got a 1300 water bill assuming I had a leak. Cole came out in a POURING rainstorm. Checked our meter outside getting soaked several times after shutting off house water, and came back to tell me we had no leak and there was no charge. I was shocked he would come out and not charge me. I will use Plumb Medic in the future for every plumbing issue. That’s amazing customer service.
Fantastic customer service! Excellent communication, and follow up, prompt, professional and very helpful and patient answering my questions. I highly recommend them without reservation!
We encountered the dreaded, dirty rusty water in our sinks and tubs and knew we needed to replace our water heater. I called Plumb Medic and after a brief discussion we were scheduled for a new install 2 days later. They were on time, on budget and the area was spic-and-span when they finished up. The quality of the joints and connections of the new copper piping needed was impressive - it was like a work of art. They were friendly, professional, honest and super easy and comfortable to do business with. I can highly recommend Plumb Medic without reservation!!
We had a fantastic experience with them. They were prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and completed the repair efficiently. The pricing was fair with no surprises. It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but they absolutely delivered. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs!
Clean install. On time. Professional and fair Price. Highly recommended
I definitely recommend Plumb Medic. Water heater finally broke and they came out and replaced it the same day. Good pricing and great customer service
Cole was capable, quick, and knowledgeable. He did solid work for a good price.
Plumb Medic was great to work with. We had a water issue and they came out quickly, figured out exactly what was going on, and explained everything clearly along the way. The technician was patient, knowledgeable, and really on top of his work. He also referred us to a water remediation company to dry out the affected areas, which made the whole situation much easier to handle. I really appreciated the professionalism and friendliness they showed throughout the process. Overall, a very good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
The entire experience was great from start to finish. It started with a phone call with Cameron. He gave me an estimate and when I mentioned I was getting estimates from other businesses he provided me with several questions to ask them. Next step was an in person estimate. Cole came out, gave an estimate then emailed me what we had discussed. When Cole came out with one other person (I forget his name) they were early, finished the work soner than they said, cleaned up then the bill was what we were quoted. Great service, great people and reasonable prices. I would recommend them to everyone adn will use the again when we need them.
I called Plumb Medic after discovering water in my garage. The owner, Cameron, came to my home at 8:30pm and detected a slab leak behind the water heater. Repairs were made the next day. Cameron is very personable and professional. I highly recommend him and his team for all plumbing needs.
Such great service. Knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Will definitely call them anytime I need a plumber.
Have been using Plumb Medic last 2 years and very satisfied. Cole was excellent. Strongly recommend!
Plumb Medic is absolutely the best. I’ve used them for multiple services and repairs, and every experience has been consistently excellent. Their communication is clear and timely, and the entire team is professional from start to finish. They’re honest, knowledgeable, and I always feel confident the work is done right. Truly the only plumbing company I trust and continue to use. Highly recommend!
Quick and responsive, friendly and helpful. Best plumber experience ever. 100% recommend.
Cameron and the team did an awesome job with our replumb. In and out in a day, competitive pricing, and they were great to work with throughout the process. Highly recommend
One of the most professional and efficient companies I’ve ever worked with. They came in and diagnosed the problem and got to work immediately. I can’t recommend them enough.
I would highly recommend!!! Cain and Eric went way above and beyond to help us out in our situation. They were very professional, knowledgeable, kind and answered all of our questions and concerns! I can not recommend them enough!
Cameron and his team have helped me out many times over the years, from leaks to running toilets and most recently, the replacement of my water heater. They’re always prompt, thorough and super respectful, their quotes are clear and transparent and they do a wonderful job explaining everything so you know exactly what you’re getting. I never feel like I’m being upsold or pressured into anything, it genuinely feels like they care - like it’s a friend or family member helping out. Their work is great too! Will hire again and again 😁
Cain and his brother Eric did an amazing job. I called Cameron and he was able to get someone out quickly despite a busy schedule. Honest, professional, on time, and no unnecessary repairs. Plus excellent pricing. All around the best —the only plumbing company I recommend.
They came when they said they would and the plumber was very nice and took care of it in the most efficient way possible, so there wasn't any superfluous charges. I highly recommend this company!
Reliable, clean, quick, fair priced. Thank you Plumb Medic for helping us! 🙂
Cameron and Corey did a fantastic job replacing my tankless hot water heater. Everything was explained to me.
We have used Plumb Medic several times over the years for our plumbing needs. Cameron and his team have always been honest and professional. Recently we had a toilet installed in which Cameron himself came out and installed. He arrived within the window he promised given the busy holiday season, which is extremely rare these days. There were some defects with toilet we purchased from Home Depot, which caused the install to take longer than expected. He had mentioned prior to coming out that his kid had a Christmas program that day, but should be able to install the toilet in time. Due to the toilet defect I’m pretty sure he missed his kid’s performance, which killed me inside. I wished he would have told me, because I would have told him to go and come back tomorrow. This just proves Cameron’s dedication to his craft and his customers. We appreciate him and his family for his dedication and highly recommend him and his team to anyone who has plumbing needs. Thank you again Cameron and we wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Great response, communication, work and reasonable price. On site within a couple of hours for a service main break. Ask for Cole.
The gentleman that came was awesome! He explain everything he was looking at and how much it would cost beforehand. He told me if it was too much that he could break it down to what should he done first. He worked office fly and checked everything to make sure all was done correctly
Cameron and team are great guys and have always been good to finish projects and help in emergencies. I have used them to finish out a laundry room project, replace toilets, replace a water heater and fix a mainline break to my house. They have always been quick and fair! I have tried several companies and plumbmedic has always treated my emergencies as if it was their own home emergencies. Can’t go wrong with this company.
Great experience! Cole from plumb medic did a thorough assessment of the issue and explained everything in details.
Cam and Jesse went above and beyond for us. From the initial call they were professional and courteous while walking me through what needed to be done on my basement rough in. The bid was very fair and they showed up on time and completed the job quicker than I expected. No corners were cut and the job was meticulously done. They also replaced my hot water heater. I can’t say enough about the Plumb Medic. It is very refreshing to work with a company like theirs. I highly recommend Plumb Medic for any of your plumbing needs.
Used them 3 times, always show up on time, fixed the issue and their prices are great.

Toilet Installation in Woodstock, GA
Toilet installation involves more than swapping out the visible fixture. Proper installation requires evaluating the closet flange, water supply, shutoff valve, and floor condition. Old wax rings should always be replaced when installing new toilets, since reusing them creates leak risk. Damaged flanges need repair or replacement before new toilets can be installed correctly. Plumb Medic technicians inspect everything during installation and recommend related work when needed. Quality components throughout the installation prevent callbacks and leaks.
Toilet selection involves several factors specific to each bathroom. Bowl shape affects comfort and space requirements, with elongated bowls offering more comfort but requiring more space than round bowls. Height matters significantly, with comfort height toilets sitting 17 to 19 inches tall versus standard 14 to 15 inch height. Comfort height makes sitting and standing easier for most adults, particularly older users. Two-piece toilets remain most common, while one-piece designs offer cleaner appearance and easier cleaning. Each choice affects daily use significantly.
Water efficiency has improved dramatically across the industry over recent decades. Federal standards limit toilets to 1.6 gallons per flush, with high-efficiency models using 1.28 gallons or less. Dual-flush designs offer different volumes for liquid and solid waste, providing additional water savings. Pressure-assisted toilets use household water pressure to provide more powerful flushing in less water, particularly useful for larger families or septic systems. WaterSense certification identifies toilets meeting strict efficiency standards. Plumb Medic helps customers choose appropriate efficiency levels.
Flushing performance varies significantly between models even within the same efficiency rating. The Maximum Performance test rates toilets on actual flushing capability using standardized waste simulants. MaP scores of 1,000 grams or higher indicate excellent flushing performance, with premium toilets often reaching 1,000 to 1,400 grams. Cheap toilets sometimes have surprisingly poor flushing despite meeting water efficiency standards. Plumb Medic recommends models with proven flushing performance based on field experience and testing data.
Toilet trapway design affects clog resistance and bowl cleaning. Larger trapways resist clogs better, with 2 to 3 inch trapways common in quality models. Glazed trapways stay cleaner longer, reducing maintenance frequency. Skirted trapways hide pipes for cleaner appearance but may complicate installation. Powerful flush technologies including siphon jet, gravity-fed, and pressure-assisted designs each have advantages. Plumb Medic explains design differences during consultation when customers want detailed information.
Bidet seat compatibility has become important for many customers. Many modern toilets accept bidet seat attachments for added comfort and hygiene. Some toilets are specifically designed for bidet seats with electrical outlet plans nearby. Standard toilets accept manual bidet seats without electrical needs. Smart toilets with built-in bidet functions represent the premium end of the market. Plumb Medic discusses bidet compatibility during installation planning when customers express interest.
Closet flange repair sometimes accompanies toilet installation. Damaged flanges from flooring level changes, corrosion, or installation problems require attention before new toilets can install properly. Flange spacers and extensions address height issues from new flooring installation. Broken flange repair kits work for some situations, while complete flange replacement is needed in others. Plumb Medic carries flange repair components on every truck for first-visit installation completion when problems are discovered.

Why Hire A Licensed Plumber For Your Toilet Installation
Professional toilet installation prevents leaks, water damage, and code violations that DIY work commonly creates. Plumb Medic technicians know how to handle stubborn old fittings, damaged flanges, and unusual situations efficiently. We carry quality wax rings, supply lines, and flange repair materials on every truck for first-visit installation. Improper installation causes slow leaks that damage subfloors and ceilings below over time. Wax ring placement, mounting bolt torque, and shutoff valve operation all require attention to detail. Manufacturer warranties on premium toilets often require professional installation. Insurance coverage for water damage may depend on professional installation documentation. The waived diagnostic fee, military and senior discounts, and Wisetack financing make professional service affordable. Plumb Medic backs every installation with warranty coverage. Calling a licensed plumber for toilet installation ensures the job is done right the first time, with no surprise problems later.
Most Common Toilet Installation Questions
Toilet installation raises practical questions about cost, model selection, and what to expect during the process. Below are clear answers to the questions Woodstock homeowners ask most often before scheduling installation.
Toilet installation costs vary based on the model selected and any additional work needed. Standard installation with a basic toilet typically runs $300 to $600 including the fixture and labor. Mid-range installations with quality toilets usually fall between $500 and $900. Premium installations with high-end fixtures or comfort features can run $700 to $1,500 or more. Plumb Medic provides upfront pricing before any work begins.
Several factors affect the final installation cost. Replacing failed shutoff valves adds $50 to $150 typically. Damaged or corroded supply lines need replacement, usually $25 to $50 per line. Closet flange repair when needed adds $75 to $300 depending on damage extent. Removing stubborn old toilets that have rusted into place takes additional labor occasionally. Multiple toilet installations during the same visit benefit from efficient scheduling. Each situation gets evaluated honestly during pricing.
The diagnostic fee is waived when we handle the installation, keeping costs lower. Military and senior discounts apply to all toilet installations. Wisetack financing covers larger projects, including bathroom remodels with multiple fixtures. We charge transparent rates that reflect quality work, not bargain-basement prices that compromise installation quality. Customers consistently report satisfaction with both pricing and results. The cost of professional installation pays for itself through prevented leaks, warranty protection, and long-term reliability.
Most toilet installations take 1 to 2 hours from arrival to completion. Standard replacements with no complications often finish in under 90 minutes. Installations requiring flange repair or shutoff valve replacement extend to 2 to 3 hours. New toilet installations in locations without existing plumbing involve significantly more work and time. Plumb Medic provides accurate time estimates during scheduling.
Several variables affect actual installation time. Older homes with original supply lines and shutoff valves often need component replacement during installation. Floor condition under existing toilets sometimes requires inspection or repair before new toilets can install. Tight bathroom spaces make removal and installation more difficult. Multiple toilets installed during the same visit benefit from efficient scheduling and reduced setup time per fixture. Plumb Medic communicates throughout installation projects.
Same-day installation is available for most jobs scheduled in advance. Emergency situations involving broken or leaking toilets get priority response, often within hours. Our trucks carry common installation parts including wax rings, supply lines, and flange repair materials, so we rarely leave for parts during installation. The complete process includes water shutoff, old toilet removal, flange inspection, new toilet installation, supply line connection, and thorough leak testing. We do not rush the job; quality work takes the time it takes. Final pressure testing and operation testing ensure everything works properly.
Toilet selection depends on several factors specific to each bathroom and household. Rough-in dimension is the first consideration, measuring distance from wall to center of waste pipe. Standard rough-in is 12 inches, though 10 and 14 inch rough-ins exist in some homes. Buying a toilet matched to actual rough-in prevents installation problems. Bowl shape affects comfort and space, with elongated providing more comfort and round saving space.
Several other factors guide selection. Height preference matters significantly, with comfort height making daily use easier for most adults. Water efficiency affects utility costs over time, with high-efficiency models saving meaningful amounts annually. Flushing performance ratings help compare actual performance regardless of marketing claims. Manufacturer reputation affects parts availability and reliability over time. Plumb Medic recommends specific models based on customer needs.
Plumb Medic helps customers navigate toilet selection during consultation. We share field experience with various models, including reliability patterns and customer feedback. Premium brands like Toto and Kohler offer excellent quality, while budget brands sometimes have specific models that perform well. Parts availability matters for long-term ownership, with major brands generally easier to service. Our recommendations balance customer preferences with technical performance and long-term value. Customers benefit from professional guidance rather than pure marketing-driven selection.
Toilet installation is one of the more approachable DIY plumbing projects for handy homeowners, but several factors complicate the work. Modern toilets come with detailed installation instructions covering basic steps. Standard hand tools handle most installation work. Successful DIY installation requires functional shutoff valves, accessible plumbing, and willingness to handle unexpected complications. Many homeowners successfully replace toilets without professional help, while others encounter problems that turn quick projects into multi-day frustrations.
Several common issues derail DIY toilet installation. Old shutoff valves often fail when operated, leaking through packing or refusing to close fully. Corroded supply line nuts can seize so tightly that proper tools are needed to free them without damage. Damaged closet flanges require repair before new toilets can install. Cross-threaded mounting bolts cause leaks weeks or months after installation. Each potential issue can extend installation time significantly.
Plumb Medic makes professional installation affordable and accessible. The waived diagnostic fee on installations, military and senior discounts, and Wisetack financing keep costs reasonable. Our work is backed by warranty, and we handle issues that arise without additional charges. Manufacturer warranties on premium toilets often require professional installation. The total cost difference between DIY and professional installation is smaller than people expect once tools, time, and risk factors are included. Calling a licensed plumber is often the better value, particularly for higher-end fixtures.
Quality toilets typically last 25 to 50 years with proper installation and maintenance. The porcelain bowl and tank rarely fail catastrophically when not damaged. Internal components including flush valves, fill valves, and flappers wear out over time but are easily replaced. Mounting hardware sometimes corrodes and may need replacement. Wax rings should be replaced when toilets are removed for any reason. Each component has specific service life affecting overall toilet ownership.
Several factors affect actual toilet lifespan. Water quality affects internal components, with hard water causing mineral buildup that affects flush performance. Quality of original installation matters significantly. Heavy household use causes more wear than light use. Cleaning practices affect porcelain finish longevity. Each factor contributes to total useful life. Repairs extend functional life beyond initial component lifespans significantly.
Plumb Medic recommends replacement primarily for water efficiency upgrades or aesthetic preferences rather than failure. Older toilets using 3 to 7 gallons per flush waste significant water compared to modern 1.28 gallon high-efficiency models. Replacement pays back through water bill savings over years. Aesthetic updates during bathroom remodels often include toilet replacement. Functional toilets in older homes sometimes serve well for decades with periodic component replacement. Our recommendations consider specific situations rather than generic age-based replacement.
Modern low-flow toilets provide significant water savings without sacrificing flush performance when chosen properly. Federal standards limit toilets to 1.6 gallons per flush, with high-efficiency models using 1.28 gallons or less. Compared to older 3 to 7 gallon toilets, modern fixtures save thousands of gallons annually for typical households. Water bill savings add up over years of ownership. WaterSense certification identifies models meeting strict efficiency and performance standards.
Several factors affect low-flow toilet performance. Quality models with good flush technology perform reliably with less water. Cheap models sometimes struggle to flush effectively, requiring multiple flushes that negate efficiency benefits. Pressure-assisted designs provide more powerful flushing in less water. Dual-flush designs offer different volumes for liquid and solid waste. Plumb Medic recommends models with proven performance based on independent testing and field experience.
Plumb Medic helps customers choose appropriate efficiency levels for specific situations. Households with older drain pipes or septic systems sometimes benefit from slightly higher water volume to ensure adequate waste flow. Most homes work well with 1.28 gallon high-efficiency models. Customer preferences and bathroom usage patterns inform recommendations. Local utility rebates sometimes apply to high-efficiency toilet replacements, which we help identify. The combination of water savings and rebate offsets often makes upgrade economically attractive even before considering improved comfort and reliability.
Comfort height toilets, also called chair height or right height, sit 17 to 19 inches tall from floor to seat. Standard toilets sit 14 to 15 inches tall. The 2 to 4 inch height difference makes sitting and standing easier for most adults, particularly older users or those with mobility issues. ADA-compliant installations specifically require chair height toilets in accessible bathrooms.
Several considerations affect comfort height suitability. Most adults find comfort height more comfortable for daily use, particularly older adults and those with knee or back issues. Children sometimes find comfort height too tall, with feet not reaching the floor easily. Average household preferences favor comfort height, while families with young children sometimes prefer standard height. Plumb Medic helps customers evaluate which height works best for specific situations.
Plumb Medic installs both heights with the same attention to quality. Comfort height has become the dominant choice in new installations and remodels. Manufacturer offerings reflect this trend, with most premium toilet lines available primarily in comfort height. Standard height remains available for specific applications and customer preferences. Our recommendations consider household composition, mobility considerations, and personal preferences. Customers benefit from understanding the differences before making selection decisions.
New toilet leaks usually trace to specific installation issues that proper work prevents. Improper wax ring placement creates leaks at the base, with water appearing on the floor around the toilet. Cross-threaded mounting bolts cause slow leaks at the base. Loose tank-to-bowl connections allow water to leak between tank and bowl. Faulty supply line connections leak at the toilet or shutoff valve. Each leak source has specific cause and solution.
Several other issues sometimes cause new toilet leaks. Damaged closet flanges allow leaks even with proper toilet installation. Cracked porcelain from manufacturing defects or shipping damage causes leaks despite correct installation. Sweating tanks during humid weather sometimes appears as leaks but is actually condensation. Internal component failures including flapper, fill valve, or flush valve cause running toilets that some confuse with leaks. Plumb Medic diagnoses leak sources accurately during repair calls.
Plumb Medic stands behind installation work with warranty coverage. New toilet leaks attributed to our installation work get corrected at no additional charge. Documentation of installation procedures supports warranty coverage. Our installations include thorough leak testing before customers approve completion, which catches potential issues immediately. Quality wax rings, supply lines, and proper torque on connections prevent most installation-related leaks. Customer reports of post-installation issues get prompt response. The waived diagnostic fee on installations and warranty coverage protect customers from installation problems.
