Plumb Medic comes through for the win...again! My water heater was old and the piping was wonky. Nick installed a better water heater and brought all the wonky stuff up to code. I always recommend Plumb Medic for plumbing needs. They're awesome!
Cain Was super friendly and knowledgeable. He stayed late to get the job done and did great work Will Call again if needed and would definitely recommend
Plumb Medic is my go to for water leaks and other plumbing issues. I have used them on multiple occasions to solve tricky issues that are typical of older homes. They were quick to come out and assess and quick to complete the project. Cameron, Cole, and Corey were polite, diligent, and frankly good at what they do. Happily recommend Plumb Medic to others and will use them should I have a new issue arise.
HIGHLY recommend! So professional!! Arrived on time, great communication and went above and beyond!!! Very reasonably priced, too!!
Thank you so much for the great service. I called that morning because my toilet was continuously running, and you came out that day. You diagnosed the problem as too much pressure and fixed the problem, and got me back in code. Your professionalism and attention to detail are very much appreciated. I will definitely recommend you to anyone that needs a professional and reasonably priced plumbing service.
Completely thrilled with the service and the prompt responses. I called on the weekend and received a call back within 24 hours. They were honestly, professional and got us up to code! Thank You!
Nick replaced a wax ring on my son’s toilet. He said he was very friendly and did a great job!
I rely on reviews a good bit but rarely write them. The glowing reviews are what led me to call Cameron/Plumb Medic LLC to get an estimate for installing a new Toto toilet that I ordered and had sitting in boxes in my hallway to replace my 43 year old Briggs toilet, yes 43 years ! Cameron returned my call immediately, was very knowledgeable and gave me a price that beat 2 other local plumbing companies even offering a discount for 2 toilets at once. I only had the one but am expecting delivery tomorrow for the second one. Cain and Eric came the next day to install my toilet. They were down to earth, easy to talk to , professional hardworking guys that knew their stuff! Plus, they are animal lovers like myself. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure having them at my house. They installed my new Toto and I plan to try to request them for the second Toto install. After using numerous plumbers/plumbing companies through the years I am happy and relieved to have found Plumb Medic and plan on making them my "go to " plumbers. This may sound odd but I do love my Toto !!! Barb Above review was several years ago. This 2nd review is from March 13 2026. Cameron and Corey came and installed a new Bradford White water heater for me. They did an exceptional job with attention to detail. Cameron noticed water seeping from an old connection above his work, accessed it and made the repair at no extra cost. I asked about replacing my 40 plus year old handle on the main water shut off to house at back of basement. Cameron was thoughtful enough to suggest that he could move it lower so I could reach it without a ladder -hopefully I won’t ever need to. He replaced it with a ball valve handle which is superior to the old school round handle that exterior faucets use and gave me a discount since they were installing the water heater. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Plumb Medic , Cameron and crew are the BEST.
As always they come through with a reasonable price and get the work done. I have used them multiple times and they will always be my first call.
Cameron and team did excellent and extensive work through our house. They cared for our home like it was theirs. Highly recommend.
I am a repeat client. They are very professional. They quickly diagnose problems and present alternative solutions to each issue. They are a pleasure to work with.
Cameron and Corey were professional, freindly, knowledgeable and honest. I told them the issues I was having and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. They don’t cut corners, and fix the problem RIGHT , and take pride in their work.
Cain and Eric were schedule to come and replace a weird leaking outdoor faucet and replace some stuff in a bathroom. They did this in the usual timely and professional manner. They noticed an indoor leak and opened the wall to find a bigger problem. Thank goodness and a mitigation company was called. At the same time I had a sewer problem and they quickly got Cole out to ream and camera the sewer. Highly recommend this service.
Called Plumb Medic after I got a 1300 water bill assuming I had a leak. Cole came out in a POURING rainstorm. Checked our meter outside getting soaked several times after shutting off house water, and came back to tell me we had no leak and there was no charge. I was shocked he would come out and not charge me. I will use Plumb Medic in the future for every plumbing issue. That’s amazing customer service.
Fantastic customer service! Excellent communication, and follow up, prompt, professional and very helpful and patient answering my questions. I highly recommend them without reservation!
We encountered the dreaded, dirty rusty water in our sinks and tubs and knew we needed to replace our water heater. I called Plumb Medic and after a brief discussion we were scheduled for a new install 2 days later. They were on time, on budget and the area was spic-and-span when they finished up. The quality of the joints and connections of the new copper piping needed was impressive - it was like a work of art. They were friendly, professional, honest and super easy and comfortable to do business with. I can highly recommend Plumb Medic without reservation!!
We had a fantastic experience with them. They were prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and completed the repair efficiently. The pricing was fair with no surprises. It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but they absolutely delivered. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs!
Clean install. On time. Professional and fair Price. Highly recommended
I definitely recommend Plumb Medic. Water heater finally broke and they came out and replaced it the same day. Good pricing and great customer service
Cole was capable, quick, and knowledgeable. He did solid work for a good price.
Plumb Medic was great to work with. We had a water issue and they came out quickly, figured out exactly what was going on, and explained everything clearly along the way. The technician was patient, knowledgeable, and really on top of his work. He also referred us to a water remediation company to dry out the affected areas, which made the whole situation much easier to handle. I really appreciated the professionalism and friendliness they showed throughout the process. Overall, a very good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
The entire experience was great from start to finish. It started with a phone call with Cameron. He gave me an estimate and when I mentioned I was getting estimates from other businesses he provided me with several questions to ask them. Next step was an in person estimate. Cole came out, gave an estimate then emailed me what we had discussed. When Cole came out with one other person (I forget his name) they were early, finished the work soner than they said, cleaned up then the bill was what we were quoted. Great service, great people and reasonable prices. I would recommend them to everyone adn will use the again when we need them.
I called Plumb Medic after discovering water in my garage. The owner, Cameron, came to my home at 8:30pm and detected a slab leak behind the water heater. Repairs were made the next day. Cameron is very personable and professional. I highly recommend him and his team for all plumbing needs.
Such great service. Knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Will definitely call them anytime I need a plumber.
Have been using Plumb Medic last 2 years and very satisfied. Cole was excellent. Strongly recommend!
Plumb Medic is absolutely the best. I’ve used them for multiple services and repairs, and every experience has been consistently excellent. Their communication is clear and timely, and the entire team is professional from start to finish. They’re honest, knowledgeable, and I always feel confident the work is done right. Truly the only plumbing company I trust and continue to use. Highly recommend!
Quick and responsive, friendly and helpful. Best plumber experience ever. 100% recommend.
Cameron and the team did an awesome job with our replumb. In and out in a day, competitive pricing, and they were great to work with throughout the process. Highly recommend
One of the most professional and efficient companies I’ve ever worked with. They came in and diagnosed the problem and got to work immediately. I can’t recommend them enough.
I would highly recommend!!! Cain and Eric went way above and beyond to help us out in our situation. They were very professional, knowledgeable, kind and answered all of our questions and concerns! I can not recommend them enough!
Cameron and his team have helped me out many times over the years, from leaks to running toilets and most recently, the replacement of my water heater. They’re always prompt, thorough and super respectful, their quotes are clear and transparent and they do a wonderful job explaining everything so you know exactly what you’re getting. I never feel like I’m being upsold or pressured into anything, it genuinely feels like they care - like it’s a friend or family member helping out. Their work is great too! Will hire again and again 😁
Cain and his brother Eric did an amazing job. I called Cameron and he was able to get someone out quickly despite a busy schedule. Honest, professional, on time, and no unnecessary repairs. Plus excellent pricing. All around the best —the only plumbing company I recommend.
They came when they said they would and the plumber was very nice and took care of it in the most efficient way possible, so there wasn't any superfluous charges. I highly recommend this company!
Reliable, clean, quick, fair priced. Thank you Plumb Medic for helping us! 🙂
Cameron and Corey did a fantastic job replacing my tankless hot water heater. Everything was explained to me.
We have used Plumb Medic several times over the years for our plumbing needs. Cameron and his team have always been honest and professional. Recently we had a toilet installed in which Cameron himself came out and installed. He arrived within the window he promised given the busy holiday season, which is extremely rare these days. There were some defects with toilet we purchased from Home Depot, which caused the install to take longer than expected. He had mentioned prior to coming out that his kid had a Christmas program that day, but should be able to install the toilet in time. Due to the toilet defect I’m pretty sure he missed his kid’s performance, which killed me inside. I wished he would have told me, because I would have told him to go and come back tomorrow. This just proves Cameron’s dedication to his craft and his customers. We appreciate him and his family for his dedication and highly recommend him and his team to anyone who has plumbing needs. Thank you again Cameron and we wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Great response, communication, work and reasonable price. On site within a couple of hours for a service main break. Ask for Cole.
The gentleman that came was awesome! He explain everything he was looking at and how much it would cost beforehand. He told me if it was too much that he could break it down to what should he done first. He worked office fly and checked everything to make sure all was done correctly
Cameron and team are great guys and have always been good to finish projects and help in emergencies. I have used them to finish out a laundry room project, replace toilets, replace a water heater and fix a mainline break to my house. They have always been quick and fair! I have tried several companies and plumbmedic has always treated my emergencies as if it was their own home emergencies. Can’t go wrong with this company.
Great experience! Cole from plumb medic did a thorough assessment of the issue and explained everything in details.
Cam and Jesse went above and beyond for us. From the initial call they were professional and courteous while walking me through what needed to be done on my basement rough in. The bid was very fair and they showed up on time and completed the job quicker than I expected. No corners were cut and the job was meticulously done. They also replaced my hot water heater. I can’t say enough about the Plumb Medic. It is very refreshing to work with a company like theirs. I highly recommend Plumb Medic for any of your plumbing needs.
Used them 3 times, always show up on time, fixed the issue and their prices are great.

Sewer Line Repair in Woodstock, GA
Sewer line problems develop from various causes that affect repair approach. Tree root intrusion is the most common issue in older homes with mature trees nearby. Roots find tiny cracks or separated joints in clay, concrete, or cast iron pipes, then grow inside seeking water and nutrients. Dense root masses develop over time, eventually blocking flow completely. Cable cleaning clears immediate blockages but does not stop regrowth without addressing pipe damage. Plumb Medic identifies root intrusion locations precisely for targeted repair planning.
Pipe cracks and breaks require specific repair approaches based on severity and location. Small cracks in otherwise good pipe can sometimes be addressed through pipe lining methods. Larger breaks or collapsed sections typically need physical repair through excavation or pipe bursting replacement. Pipe age affects decisions, with older pipes near end of life often warranting replacement rather than repair. Cast iron pipes with corrosion problems sometimes need replacement of significant sections. Clay pipes with multiple cracks usually justify full replacement.
Trenchless repair methods minimize excavation when conditions allow effective application. Pipe lining inserts a flexible liner inside existing pipe, curing in place to create a new pipe within the old one. The cured liner restores structural integrity and provides smooth interior surfaces resistant to root intrusion. Pipe bursting replaces existing lines by pulling new pipe through the path of the old one, breaking the original outward into surrounding soil. Each method has specific applications based on pipe condition, soil conditions, and project scope.
Spot repairs address specific localized problems through targeted excavation. A single cracked section, joint separation, or root intrusion point can sometimes be repaired through limited excavation rather than replacing entire lines. Spot repair costs less than comprehensive replacement when isolated problems exist on otherwise sound pipes. Plumb Medic evaluates whether spot repair makes sense based on overall pipe condition. Sometimes camera inspection reveals additional problems that change repair scope.
Belly section repair addresses sagging pipe sections that hold water and accumulate waste. The depression must be eliminated to restore proper flow, typically requiring excavation and re-grading the affected section. Sometimes new pipe replaces the bellied section entirely, while other situations allow reusing existing pipe with proper bedding correction. Plumb Medic identifies belly sections during inspection and discusses repair options. Cleaning belly sections temporarily addresses symptoms but does not solve underlying problems.
Joint separation repairs vary by pipe material and severity. Older clay and cast iron pipes used various joint designs that gradually fail over decades. Some separated joints can be resealed with appropriate fittings or compounds. Other situations require pipe replacement at the affected sections. Camera inspection clearly identifies joint problems for accurate diagnosis. Repairs can be targeted to specific affected areas in many cases, preserving most of the existing line.
Connection repairs address problems where lateral lines meet main sewers. Improper connections, corroded fittings, or damaged junctions create persistent flow problems and root intrusion points. Repairs typically involve excavating to the connection point and rebuilding the junction with appropriate modern fittings. Plumb Medic handles connection repairs including coordination with municipal utilities when main line work is involved. Permits and inspections apply to connection work just like new installations.

Most Common Sewer Line Repair Questions
Sewer line repair raises significant questions about cost, methods, and what to expect during major projects. Below are clear answers to the questions Woodstock homeowners ask most often before scheduling sewer repair work.
Sewer line repair costs vary significantly based on problem type, location, and method used. Simple spot repairs through limited excavation typically run $1,500 to $4,000 depending on depth and accessibility. Trenchless pipe lining for partial sections often costs $4,000 to $8,000 for typical residential applications. Pipe bursting replacement of full residential lines ranges from $6,000 to $15,000 depending on length. Full traditional excavation replacement reaches $5,000 to $20,000 or more for complex projects. Plumb Medic provides detailed estimates after inspection.
Several factors affect total repair costs. Length of pipe needing replacement affects material and labor costs directly. Depth of installation affects excavation difficulty and equipment needs. Soil conditions influence excavation costs significantly. Surface restoration including landscaping, driveway, or hardscape repair adds substantial costs in some situations. Method selection between trenchless and traditional excavation affects both cost and disruption. Each factor gets evaluated honestly during project planning.
The diagnostic fee is waived when we handle the repair, keeping costs lower. Wisetack financing covers sewer repair projects through manageable monthly payments, making major work affordable. Military and senior discounts apply to all sewer repair work. Insurance coverage sometimes applies when sudden failures cause the need for repair, with documentation supporting claim processing. Plumb Medic provides transparent pricing with no surprise charges. Customers receive clear documentation of all work performed for their records and any insurance or home sale needs.
Several signs indicate sewer line problems requiring professional attention. Multiple drains backing up simultaneously points to main sewer line issues rather than individual fixture problems. Toilets gurgling when other fixtures are used suggests main line restriction. Slow drains throughout the home, especially when several fixtures are used together, indicate developing sewer problems. Sewage smells in the yard or wet spots over sewer line routes suggest leaks or breaks. Unusually green or lush grass over sewer lines sometimes indicates underground leaks providing water and nutrients.
Several specific signs warrant immediate professional response. Sewage backing up into showers, tubs, or floor drains indicates serious sewer line obstruction. Multiple toilet flushing failures suggest main line problems. Foundation cracks combined with sewer problems may indicate pipe-related ground movement. Sinkholes or depressions in yards over sewer routes signal soil washout from leaking pipes. Each symptom deserves prompt investigation to prevent escalating damage.
Plumb Medic responds to sewer concerns quickly to prevent damage progression. Our 24/7 availability means help is always available for urgent backups. Camera inspection identifies actual problems precisely, distinguishing between simple clogs and serious pipe damage. The waived diagnostic fee on repairs encourages prompt response to suspected issues. Documentation of findings supports insurance claims when damage has occurred. Some sewer problems remain manageable for periods before suddenly worsening, while others compound damage progressively. Catching issues early always costs less than emergency response after major problems develop.
Tree root intrusion causes the majority of sewer line damage in older Woodstock homes. Roots find tiny cracks or separated joints in clay, concrete, or cast iron sewer pipes. Once inside the pipe, roots find ample water and nutrients to grow rapidly. Dense root masses develop over months or years, eventually blocking flow completely. Even small root intrusions slow flow and catch passing debris, creating progressive problems. Older neighborhoods with mature trees see this issue most frequently across the area.
Several other causes contribute significantly to sewer damage. Ground shifting from soil conditions, settlement, or seismic activity stresses pipe joints over time. Heavy traffic over sewer lines from vehicles or construction equipment can damage pipes. Age-related deterioration affects all pipe materials eventually, with older clay and concrete pipes particularly vulnerable. Improper original installation creates problems that may not appear for decades. Each cause has specific characteristics that guide repair decisions.
Plumb Medic identifies actual damage causes during inspection and repair work. Sometimes addressing root causes matters more than just repairing visible damage. Tree removal may be appropriate for trees causing repeated problems with sewer lines. Pipe lining or replacement with modern materials prevents future root intrusion. Better drainage around pipes addresses water-related problems. Our recommendations balance immediate repair needs with long-term solutions. Customers benefit from understanding why damage occurred and how to prevent recurrence.
Sewer line repair timelines vary widely based on scope and method. Simple spot repairs through excavation typically take 1 to 2 days for accessible problems. Trenchless pipe lining usually completes in 1 to 3 days depending on pipe length and conditions. Pipe bursting replacement often finishes in 1 to 2 days for typical residential applications. Full traditional excavation replacement can take 3 to 5 days or more for complex projects. Plumb Medic provides accurate timeline estimates during project planning.
Several factors affect actual repair duration. Excavation conditions including soil type, depth, and obstacles affect digging time significantly. Weather impacts excavation work, with rain causing delays in some situations. Surface restoration after repair adds time at project completion. Coordination with utility services for tap or main line work sometimes extends timelines. Permit and inspection scheduling affects total timeline though not direct work hours.
Plumb Medic minimizes service interruption during repair projects. Existing sewer service typically remains operational until the new line is ready for connection. Brief interruption during the actual changeover gets scheduled to minimize household impact. Backup options like portable facilities can be arranged for longer interruptions when needed. Customers can plan around the project timeline once specific dates are confirmed. Final inspection and surface restoration complete projects properly. Quality work takes appropriate time, but we work efficiently to minimize total project duration.
Yes, trenchless repair methods often allow repairs without major yard disruption. Pipe lining inserts a flexible liner inside existing pipe through limited access points, typically requiring only one or two access pits rather than continuous excavation. Pipe bursting replaces existing lines by pulling new pipe through the path of the old one through small access points at each end. Both methods preserve most landscaping, hardscape, and driveways while accomplishing complete pipe replacement.
Several factors determine whether trenchless methods fit specific situations. Existing pipe condition affects whether lining can work effectively, with severely collapsed sections sometimes requiring traditional excavation. Pipe diameter and material affect method selection. Distance and depth requirements influence feasibility. Connection points and access requirements limit applications in some cases. Soil conditions affect both methods. Plumb Medic evaluates each situation to recommend appropriate methods.
Plumb Medic offers trenchless solutions when conditions allow effective application. Customer benefits include minimal landscape damage, faster installation in many cases, and reduced surface restoration costs. Trees, gardens, driveways, hardscape, and mature landscaping benefit from trenchless preservation. Some situations may not be candidates for trenchless methods due to specific conditions. We explain options honestly during project planning. Sometimes traditional excavation makes more sense based on total project economics and pipe condition. Customers benefit from understanding all available options before making decisions about repair scope and method.
Quality sewer line repairs typically last decades when properly performed. Trenchless pipe lining creates new pipe interior expected to last 50 years or more. Pipe bursting installs entirely new pipe with similar lifespan expectations. Spot repairs using modern materials integrated into existing systems often last as long as the surrounding pipe condition allows. Full replacement with PVC creates systems expected to last 50 to 100 years. Each method has specific lifespan estimates based on materials and conditions.
Several factors affect repair longevity. Quality of installation matters significantly, with proper bedding, slope, and connections extending service life. Material selection affects performance and lifespan, with quality materials lasting longer than budget alternatives. Underlying soil conditions and tree presence affect long-term reliability. Maintenance practices including periodic inspection identify developing problems early. Each factor contributes to total useful life of repair work.
Plumb Medic uses quality materials and proper techniques to maximize repair longevity. Our work is backed by warranty covering both materials and workmanship. Documentation of repair work supports future maintenance decisions and home sales. Camera inspection after completion verifies repair quality. Customers benefit from honest assessment of expected lifespan and any factors that might affect performance. Our recommendations consider long-term outcomes rather than just immediate problem resolution. Quality repair work pays off through decades of reliable service rather than recurring problems.
Insurance coverage for sewer line repair varies significantly based on circumstances and policy details. Sudden pipe failures causing immediate damage are typically covered under standard homeowner policies. Gradual deterioration is generally not covered, since insurance addresses sudden and accidental damage rather than wear and tear. Backup coverage as additional rider sometimes covers sewage backup damage. Service line coverage is increasingly available as additional coverage option for sewer line repair specifically.
Several specific situations may generate insurance coverage. Tree damage from neighboring properties sometimes triggers coverage from the neighbor’s insurance. Damage from natural disasters may be covered under specific policies or government assistance programs. Sudden collapses sometimes get covered when the cause is identifiable as an event rather than gradual deterioration. Each situation requires specific evaluation against policy terms. Plumb Medic provides documentation supporting insurance claim processing.
Insurance coverage discussion happens during project planning when relevant. Detailed reports describe damage cause when determinable, helping adjusters understand situations. Photos and video documentation support claims. Itemized invoices break down repair costs for insurance review. Wisetack financing covers situations where claims are pending or coverage gaps exist. The waived diagnostic fee on repairs benefits customers regardless of insurance situation. Our goal is making the entire process as smooth as possible for customers facing major repairs. Many of our customers have successfully claimed appropriate sewer repair situations with our supporting documentation.
Several preventive practices reduce sewer line damage risk over time. Avoiding planting trees with aggressive root systems near sewer lines prevents most root intrusion problems. Mature tree removal sometimes makes sense for trees causing repeated sewer issues. Proper drainage around sewer lines prevents soil saturation that can damage pipes. Avoiding heavy equipment over sewer lines prevents pressure damage. Each practice contributes to long-term sewer system reliability.
Specific user practices affect sewer system health. Not flushing inappropriate items including wipes, feminine products, paper towels, or other non-toilet paper materials prevents many clogs. Using kitchen disposals appropriately and avoiding grease disposal protects sewer lines. Periodic cleaning of accessible areas removes accumulated debris. Plumb Medic provides specific recommendations during service calls based on observed problems and home configuration.
Plumb Medic offers periodic inspection services that catch developing problems early. Our team performs camera inspection, identifies developing issues, and recommends appropriate response. Documentation provides records for warranty purposes and home sales. The waived diagnostic fee on follow-up repairs encourages prompt response to identified issues. Annual or biennial inspections fit easily into homeowner maintenance schedules. The cost is modest compared to emergency repairs after major problems develop. Customers who maintain awareness of sewer system condition typically avoid most major emergencies. Prevention always costs less than emergency response.
