Professional Faucet Installation in Woodstock, GA
A new faucet refreshes any space and improves daily function, and Plumb Medic delivers installations that last for years. Our team works with every major brand, including Moen, Delta, Kohler, Pfister, Grohe, and high-end European manufacturers. We install kitchen faucets, bathroom faucets, utility sink faucets, bar sink faucets, and outdoor hose bibbs with the same attention to detail. Each installation begins with proper preparation, including shutting off water supplies and protecting cabinetry. Old fixtures get removed cleanly without damage to countertops or sinks. New supply lines, valves, and fittings are installed where needed, since old components often cause leaks if reused. Every connection gets tested under pressure before we leave. The diagnostic fee is waived when we handle the installation, and Wisetack financing is available for larger projects involving multiple fixtures. Military and senior discounts apply, and our team responds quickly to scheduling requests. Quality work backed by warranty has earned us the Business Rate’s Best of Woodstock Plumber 2025 award.
Plumb Medic comes through for the win...again! My water heater was old and the piping was wonky. Nick installed a better water heater and brought all the wonky stuff up to code. I always recommend Plumb Medic for plumbing needs. They're awesome!
Cain Was super friendly and knowledgeable. He stayed late to get the job done and did great work Will Call again if needed and would definitely recommend
Plumb Medic is my go to for water leaks and other plumbing issues. I have used them on multiple occasions to solve tricky issues that are typical of older homes. They were quick to come out and assess and quick to complete the project. Cameron, Cole, and Corey were polite, diligent, and frankly good at what they do. Happily recommend Plumb Medic to others and will use them should I have a new issue arise.
HIGHLY recommend! So professional!! Arrived on time, great communication and went above and beyond!!! Very reasonably priced, too!!
Thank you so much for the great service. I called that morning because my toilet was continuously running, and you came out that day. You diagnosed the problem as too much pressure and fixed the problem, and got me back in code. Your professionalism and attention to detail are very much appreciated. I will definitely recommend you to anyone that needs a professional and reasonably priced plumbing service.
Completely thrilled with the service and the prompt responses. I called on the weekend and received a call back within 24 hours. They were honestly, professional and got us up to code! Thank You!
Nick replaced a wax ring on my son’s toilet. He said he was very friendly and did a great job!
I rely on reviews a good bit but rarely write them. The glowing reviews are what led me to call Cameron/Plumb Medic LLC to get an estimate for installing a new Toto toilet that I ordered and had sitting in boxes in my hallway to replace my 43 year old Briggs toilet, yes 43 years ! Cameron returned my call immediately, was very knowledgeable and gave me a price that beat 2 other local plumbing companies even offering a discount for 2 toilets at once. I only had the one but am expecting delivery tomorrow for the second one. Cain and Eric came the next day to install my toilet. They were down to earth, easy to talk to , professional hardworking guys that knew their stuff! Plus, they are animal lovers like myself. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure having them at my house. They installed my new Toto and I plan to try to request them for the second Toto install. After using numerous plumbers/plumbing companies through the years I am happy and relieved to have found Plumb Medic and plan on making them my "go to " plumbers. This may sound odd but I do love my Toto !!! Barb Above review was several years ago. This 2nd review is from March 13 2026. Cameron and Corey came and installed a new Bradford White water heater for me. They did an exceptional job with attention to detail. Cameron noticed water seeping from an old connection above his work, accessed it and made the repair at no extra cost. I asked about replacing my 40 plus year old handle on the main water shut off to house at back of basement. Cameron was thoughtful enough to suggest that he could move it lower so I could reach it without a ladder -hopefully I won’t ever need to. He replaced it with a ball valve handle which is superior to the old school round handle that exterior faucets use and gave me a discount since they were installing the water heater. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Plumb Medic , Cameron and crew are the BEST.
As always they come through with a reasonable price and get the work done. I have used them multiple times and they will always be my first call.
Cameron and team did excellent and extensive work through our house. They cared for our home like it was theirs. Highly recommend.
I am a repeat client. They are very professional. They quickly diagnose problems and present alternative solutions to each issue. They are a pleasure to work with.
Cameron and Corey were professional, freindly, knowledgeable and honest. I told them the issues I was having and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. They don’t cut corners, and fix the problem RIGHT , and take pride in their work.
Cain and Eric were schedule to come and replace a weird leaking outdoor faucet and replace some stuff in a bathroom. They did this in the usual timely and professional manner. They noticed an indoor leak and opened the wall to find a bigger problem. Thank goodness and a mitigation company was called. At the same time I had a sewer problem and they quickly got Cole out to ream and camera the sewer. Highly recommend this service.
Called Plumb Medic after I got a 1300 water bill assuming I had a leak. Cole came out in a POURING rainstorm. Checked our meter outside getting soaked several times after shutting off house water, and came back to tell me we had no leak and there was no charge. I was shocked he would come out and not charge me. I will use Plumb Medic in the future for every plumbing issue. That’s amazing customer service.
Fantastic customer service! Excellent communication, and follow up, prompt, professional and very helpful and patient answering my questions. I highly recommend them without reservation!
We encountered the dreaded, dirty rusty water in our sinks and tubs and knew we needed to replace our water heater. I called Plumb Medic and after a brief discussion we were scheduled for a new install 2 days later. They were on time, on budget and the area was spic-and-span when they finished up. The quality of the joints and connections of the new copper piping needed was impressive - it was like a work of art. They were friendly, professional, honest and super easy and comfortable to do business with. I can highly recommend Plumb Medic without reservation!!
We had a fantastic experience with them. They were prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and completed the repair efficiently. The pricing was fair with no surprises. It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but they absolutely delivered. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs!
Clean install. On time. Professional and fair Price. Highly recommended
I definitely recommend Plumb Medic. Water heater finally broke and they came out and replaced it the same day. Good pricing and great customer service
Cole was capable, quick, and knowledgeable. He did solid work for a good price.
Plumb Medic was great to work with. We had a water issue and they came out quickly, figured out exactly what was going on, and explained everything clearly along the way. The technician was patient, knowledgeable, and really on top of his work. He also referred us to a water remediation company to dry out the affected areas, which made the whole situation much easier to handle. I really appreciated the professionalism and friendliness they showed throughout the process. Overall, a very good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
The entire experience was great from start to finish. It started with a phone call with Cameron. He gave me an estimate and when I mentioned I was getting estimates from other businesses he provided me with several questions to ask them. Next step was an in person estimate. Cole came out, gave an estimate then emailed me what we had discussed. When Cole came out with one other person (I forget his name) they were early, finished the work soner than they said, cleaned up then the bill was what we were quoted. Great service, great people and reasonable prices. I would recommend them to everyone adn will use the again when we need them.
I called Plumb Medic after discovering water in my garage. The owner, Cameron, came to my home at 8:30pm and detected a slab leak behind the water heater. Repairs were made the next day. Cameron is very personable and professional. I highly recommend him and his team for all plumbing needs.
Such great service. Knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Will definitely call them anytime I need a plumber.
Have been using Plumb Medic last 2 years and very satisfied. Cole was excellent. Strongly recommend!
Plumb Medic is absolutely the best. I’ve used them for multiple services and repairs, and every experience has been consistently excellent. Their communication is clear and timely, and the entire team is professional from start to finish. They’re honest, knowledgeable, and I always feel confident the work is done right. Truly the only plumbing company I trust and continue to use. Highly recommend!
Quick and responsive, friendly and helpful. Best plumber experience ever. 100% recommend.
Cameron and the team did an awesome job with our replumb. In and out in a day, competitive pricing, and they were great to work with throughout the process. Highly recommend
One of the most professional and efficient companies I’ve ever worked with. They came in and diagnosed the problem and got to work immediately. I can’t recommend them enough.
I would highly recommend!!! Cain and Eric went way above and beyond to help us out in our situation. They were very professional, knowledgeable, kind and answered all of our questions and concerns! I can not recommend them enough!
Cameron and his team have helped me out many times over the years, from leaks to running toilets and most recently, the replacement of my water heater. They’re always prompt, thorough and super respectful, their quotes are clear and transparent and they do a wonderful job explaining everything so you know exactly what you’re getting. I never feel like I’m being upsold or pressured into anything, it genuinely feels like they care - like it’s a friend or family member helping out. Their work is great too! Will hire again and again 😁
Cain and his brother Eric did an amazing job. I called Cameron and he was able to get someone out quickly despite a busy schedule. Honest, professional, on time, and no unnecessary repairs. Plus excellent pricing. All around the best —the only plumbing company I recommend.
They came when they said they would and the plumber was very nice and took care of it in the most efficient way possible, so there wasn't any superfluous charges. I highly recommend this company!
Reliable, clean, quick, fair priced. Thank you Plumb Medic for helping us! 🙂
Cameron and Corey did a fantastic job replacing my tankless hot water heater. Everything was explained to me.
We have used Plumb Medic several times over the years for our plumbing needs. Cameron and his team have always been honest and professional. Recently we had a toilet installed in which Cameron himself came out and installed. He arrived within the window he promised given the busy holiday season, which is extremely rare these days. There were some defects with toilet we purchased from Home Depot, which caused the install to take longer than expected. He had mentioned prior to coming out that his kid had a Christmas program that day, but should be able to install the toilet in time. Due to the toilet defect I’m pretty sure he missed his kid’s performance, which killed me inside. I wished he would have told me, because I would have told him to go and come back tomorrow. This just proves Cameron’s dedication to his craft and his customers. We appreciate him and his family for his dedication and highly recommend him and his team to anyone who has plumbing needs. Thank you again Cameron and we wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Great response, communication, work and reasonable price. On site within a couple of hours for a service main break. Ask for Cole.
The gentleman that came was awesome! He explain everything he was looking at and how much it would cost beforehand. He told me if it was too much that he could break it down to what should he done first. He worked office fly and checked everything to make sure all was done correctly
Cameron and team are great guys and have always been good to finish projects and help in emergencies. I have used them to finish out a laundry room project, replace toilets, replace a water heater and fix a mainline break to my house. They have always been quick and fair! I have tried several companies and plumbmedic has always treated my emergencies as if it was their own home emergencies. Can’t go wrong with this company.
Great experience! Cole from plumb medic did a thorough assessment of the issue and explained everything in details.
Cam and Jesse went above and beyond for us. From the initial call they were professional and courteous while walking me through what needed to be done on my basement rough in. The bid was very fair and they showed up on time and completed the job quicker than I expected. No corners were cut and the job was meticulously done. They also replaced my hot water heater. I can’t say enough about the Plumb Medic. It is very refreshing to work with a company like theirs. I highly recommend Plumb Medic for any of your plumbing needs.
Used them 3 times, always show up on time, fixed the issue and their prices are great.

Faucet Installation in Woodstock, GA
Faucet installation involves more than simply swapping out the visible fixture. Proper installation requires evaluating the supply lines, shutoff valves, and connections under the sink or behind the wall. Old supply lines often have corroded fittings that should be replaced when a new faucet is installed. Shutoff valves that have not been operated in years frequently leak or fail to close fully, creating future problems. Plumb Medic technicians inspect everything during installation and recommend replacements when needed. We carry common supply lines, valves, and adapters on every truck. Quality components throughout the installation prevent callbacks and leaks. Cutting corners on hidden parts undermines even the best fixture.
Kitchen faucet installation presents specific challenges that experience helps navigate. Modern kitchen faucets often have integrated sprayers, soap dispensers, and filtered water connections that require multiple supply lines. Mounting holes on existing sinks may not match the new faucet’s configuration, sometimes requiring decorative deck plates or sink modification. Pull-down sprayers need clearance behind the faucet for the hose to retract properly. Garbage disposals, dishwashers, and water filtration connections all share the under-sink space, complicating installation. Counter thickness affects whether certain mounting hardware fits properly. Plumb Medic plans each installation carefully to address these factors before starting work.
Bathroom faucet installations come in several configurations that affect the work involved. Single-hole faucets mount through one opening and offer clean modern looks. Centerset faucets combine spout and handles on a single base, mounting through three holes spaced 4 inches apart. Widespread faucets have separate hot and cold handles plus the spout, mounting through three holes spaced 8 to 16 inches apart. Wall-mounted faucets require rough-in plumbing inside the wall, which is typically planned during construction. Vessel sink faucets have tall designs to clear the raised bowl rim. Each style has specific installation requirements we handle correctly.
Sink type significantly affects installation complexity and approach. Top-mount sinks sit on top of the counter with the faucet mounting through holes in the sink itself. Undermount sinks attach below the counter, with the faucet mounting through holes drilled in the counter. Vessel sinks sit completely on top of the counter, requiring counter-mounted faucets. Apron-front farmhouse sinks add their own considerations for clearance and sealing. Stainless steel, porcelain, granite composite, and stone sinks each have different mounting hardware needs. Plumb Medic adapts to whatever sink configuration we encounter, since experience with all types matters.
Connection types between faucets and supply lines vary significantly. Compression fittings on copper supply lines need careful tightening to seal without damaging components. Push-fit connections common on PEX or copper provide quick installation when used correctly. Threaded connections at faucet inlets require thread sealant or tape applied properly. Some high-end faucets use proprietary quick connect systems specific to that brand. Flexible braided supply lines are standard for most modern installations, replacing rigid copper risers used in older homes. Plumb Medic uses appropriate connection methods for each situation, ensuring leak-free results.
Specialty faucets add complexity that benefits from professional installation. Touchless faucets require electrical connections, sensors, and battery or hardwired power. Smart faucets with voice control or app integration involve electronics in addition to plumbing. Pot-filler faucets mount above ranges and require dedicated water supply lines run through walls. Filtered water dispensers need connection to filtration systems or reverse osmosis units. Hot water dispensers tap into the water supply and require tank installation under the sink. Each specialty fixture has unique requirements that proper planning addresses upfront.
Code compliance matters even for simple faucet swaps. Cross-connection control prevents contamination of the potable water supply, which affects certain faucets like utility sinks with hose threads. Anti-scald protection on bathroom and shower faucets is required by code in most installations. Lead-free certification applies to all components touching drinking water under federal law. Proper venting through trap configurations prevents sewer gas from entering the home. Plumb Medic technicians know current code requirements and apply them correctly. Permit requirements typically only apply to major plumbing work, not simple faucet replacement, but we follow appropriate procedures when needed.

Why Hire A Licensed Plumber For Your Faucet Installation
Professional faucet installation prevents leaks, water damage, and warranty issues that DIY work often creates. Plumb Medic technicians know how to handle stubborn old fittings without damaging supply lines, sinks, or countertops. We carry the right tools for tight under-sink spaces and unusual connections. Manufacturer warranties on premium faucets often require professional installation to remain valid; documentation we provide supports warranty claims. Improper supply line connections cause slow leaks that damage cabinets, flooring, and walls over time before becoming visible. Cross-threaded fittings, overtightened connections, and missing seals all cause failures that show up months after DIY installation. Our work is backed by warranty and accountability you cannot get from doing it yourself. The waived diagnostic fee, military and senior discounts, and Wisetack financing make professional installation accessible. Plumb Medic completes installations efficiently, usually in a single visit. Hiring a licensed plumber ensures the job is done right the first time.
Most Common Faucet Installation Questions
Faucet installation raises practical questions about cost, timing, and what to expect during the process. Below are clear answers to the questions Woodstock homeowners ask most often before scheduling installation.
Faucet installation costs vary based on the fixture type, location, and any additional work needed. Standard bathroom faucet installation typically runs $150 to $300, including basic supply line replacement. Kitchen faucet installation usually costs $200 to $400 due to the more complex connections involved. Specialty installations like pot-fillers, touchless faucets, or hot water dispensers run higher, often $400 to $800 depending on requirements. Outdoor hose bibb replacement falls between $150 and $350 in most cases. Plumb Medic provides upfront pricing before any work begins.
Several factors affect the final installation cost. Replacing failed shutoff valves adds $50 to $150 per valve, which is often necessary on older installations. Damaged or corroded supply lines require replacement, typically $25 to $50 per line. Removing stubborn old faucets that have seized to the sink takes additional labor in some cases. Installing new fixtures in locations without existing plumbing involves significantly more work and cost. Counter or sink modifications for different mounting configurations may be needed. Each situation gets evaluated during pricing.
The diagnostic fee is waived when we handle the installation, keeping overall costs lower. Military and senior discounts apply to all faucet installations. Wisetack financing covers larger projects, like updating multiple fixtures throughout a home or commercial property. We charge transparent rates that reflect quality work, not bargain-basement prices that compromise installation quality. Customers consistently report satisfaction with both pricing and results. The cost of professional installation pays for itself through prevented leaks, warranty protection, and long-term reliability. Our reputation across Woodstock is built on honest pricing and quality work.
Most faucet installations take 45 minutes to 2 hours from arrival to completion. Standard bathroom faucet replacements often finish in under an hour when shutoff valves work properly and supply lines disconnect cleanly. Kitchen faucets generally take longer due to deeper sink basins, multiple supply lines, and connections to dishwashers or filtration systems. Specialty installations like pot-fillers or touchless faucets with electrical connections take 2 to 4 hours. Removing stubborn old fixtures that have corroded or seized adds time to the project.
Several variables affect actual installation time. Older homes with original supply lines and shutoff valves often need component replacement during installation, adding time. Tight cabinet spaces under sinks make every connection more difficult to access. Sink type matters; undermount sinks generally allow easier faucet work than top-mount sinks with limited under-sink clearance. Multiple fixtures installed during the same visit benefit from efficient scheduling and reduced setup time per fixture. Plumb Medic provides accurate time estimates during scheduling, so you can plan accordingly.
Same-day installation is available for most jobs scheduled in advance. Emergency situations involving broken or leaking fixtures get priority response, often within hours. Our trucks carry common faucet replacement parts, supply lines, and fittings, so we rarely leave for parts during installation. The complete process includes water shutoff, old faucet removal, new faucet installation, supply line connection, leak testing, and cleanup. We do not rush the job; quality work takes the time it takes. Final pressure testing and leak inspection ensure everything works properly before we leave. You receive a working faucet plus documentation of the installation.
Faucet installation is one of the more approachable DIY plumbing projects for handy homeowners, but several factors complicate the work. Modern faucets come with detailed instructions that cover basic installation steps. Standard hand tools handle most of the work, including basin wrenches, channel-lock pliers, and adjustable wrenches. Successful DIY installation requires functional shutoff valves, accessible connections, and willingness to handle unexpected complications. Many homeowners successfully replace simple faucets without professional help. Others encounter problems that turn quick projects into multi-day frustrations.
Several common issues derail DIY faucet installation. Old shutoff valves often fail when operated, leaking through the packing or refusing to close fully. Corroded supply line nuts can seize so tightly that proper tools and technique are needed to free them without damaging the line. Cross-threaded connections cause leaks that show up days or weeks later, after the homeowner has moved on. Tight under-sink spaces require specific tools and patience to navigate. Counter material, sink configuration, and faucet design all affect installation specifics. Each potential problem can turn a simple job into a complicated repair.
Plumb Medic makes professional installation affordable and accessible. The waived diagnostic fee on installations, military and senior discounts, and Wisetack financing keep costs reasonable. Our work is backed by warranty, and we handle any issues that arise without additional charges. Manufacturer warranties on premium faucets often require professional installation to remain valid. The total cost difference between DIY and professional installation is smaller than people expect once tools, time, and risk factors are included. Calling a licensed plumber is often the better value, particularly for higher-end fixtures. We are happy to handle the work so you can enjoy your new faucet without hassle.
Faucet selection depends on the sink’s mounting hole configuration first. Single-hole sinks need single-hole faucets, while three-hole sinks accommodate centerset, mini-spread, or widespread faucets depending on hole spacing. Some sinks have four holes for additional accessories like sprayers or soap dispensers. Decorative deck plates can convert single-hole faucets to fit three-hole sinks for more flexible style options. Measuring hole spacing before shopping prevents disappointing returns. Plumb Medic can verify configurations during a pre-installation visit if needed.
Faucet height and reach matter for daily function. Tall arc faucets work well in deep sinks where clearance for large pots and dishes is needed. Low-profile faucets suit shallow sinks or installations under wall cabinets that limit overhead space. Reach measures how far the spout extends from the base, affecting how easily water reaches the center of the sink. Pull-down sprayers require enough clearance behind the faucet for the hose mechanism. Each measurement affects daily usability significantly. Choosing a faucet that fits the space prevents constant frustration.
Style preferences and budget guide final selection within technical requirements. Finishes range from chrome and stainless steel to oil-rubbed bronze, matte black, and brushed gold. Some finishes show water spots and fingerprints more than others, affecting maintenance. Quality varies dramatically across price points, with cheap faucets often failing within a few years. Premium brands like Kohler, Moen, Delta, and Grohe offer better internal components, longer warranties, and parts availability. Plumb Medic recommends brands and models we have positive experience with. We avoid recommending faucets known for failures or poor parts availability. Our team helps customers balance style, function, and durability during the selection process.
Failed shutoff valves are common and need replacement during faucet installation. The valves usually fail in one of two ways: they leak when operated due to worn packing, or they refuse to close fully, allowing water to continue flowing. Either failure prevents safe faucet replacement work. Plumb Medic carries replacement valves on every truck and handles this issue routinely. The replacement adds $50 to $150 per valve to the installation cost in most cases. Quarter-turn ball valves are typical replacements, offering reliable operation and longer life than older multi-turn valves.
Replacing valves requires shutting off water at a higher level temporarily. The main shutoff at the home’s water entry serves this purpose for whole-house water shutoff. Some homes have intermediate shutoffs at the water heater or in basement utility areas. The valve replacement itself takes 15 to 30 minutes per valve once water is off. Soldering or push-fit connections complete the new valve installation, depending on existing pipe material. Pressure testing after installation confirms leak-free operation.
Plumb Medic recommends valve replacement as part of any faucet installation when existing valves show problems. This proactive approach prevents future leaks and ensures the new faucet operates with reliable shutoffs. Customers can isolate fixtures for future repairs without affecting the entire house. Quality valves from reputable manufacturers last 20 to 30 years with proper installation. We use lead-free brass valves that meet current code requirements. The investment in proper shutoffs pays off through years of reliable service and easier future maintenance. Our work is backed by warranty, including all valves we install.
Replacing supply lines during faucet installation is strongly recommended in most cases. Old supply lines often have corroded fittings, weakened materials, or failure-prone designs from earlier manufacturing standards. Reusing old lines creates leak risk that shows up days, weeks, or months after the new faucet installation. The cost of new supply lines is minimal compared to water damage from a slow leak. Plumb Medic installs new flexible braided stainless steel supply lines on every faucet installation as standard practice.
Several common supply line types exist, with significant quality differences. Old-style rigid copper risers were common in earlier installations but cracked at compression fittings over time. Plastic supply lines from the 1980s and 1990s have failed at high rates and should always be replaced. Flexible braided stainless steel lines are the current standard for residential applications. Premium options use thicker stainless steel braiding and reinforced fittings for longer life. The small price difference between basic and premium lines is worth paying for the quality improvement.
Supply line failures cause significant water damage when they occur. A burst supply line under a sink can release hundreds of gallons of water before discovery, particularly when homeowners are away. Insurance claims for these failures are common and expensive. Replacing supply lines proactively during faucet installation prevents these failures completely. Plumb Medic uses quality lines and installs them properly with appropriate connections. Our work is backed by warranty on both the installation labor and components. Customers can trust that supply lines we install will not be the source of future problems. The peace of mind alone justifies the modest cost of new lines.
Quality faucets from reputable manufacturers typically last 15 to 25 years with proper installation and maintenance. Premium brands like Kohler, Moen, Delta, Grohe, and Hansgrohe offer products that often exceed this range when cared for properly. Internal cartridges that control water flow are the most common wear component, and most premium faucets have cartridges that can be replaced individually. Finish wear varies by type and usage, with chrome and brushed nickel typically holding up better than oil-rubbed bronze in some installations.
Several factors affect actual faucet lifespan. Water quality plays a major role, with hard water shortening cartridge life through mineral buildup. Daily usage levels affect wear on moving parts, with heavily used kitchen faucets wearing faster than guest bathroom fixtures. Water pressure within recommended ranges, typically 40 to 80 PSI, helps faucets last. Excessive pressure stresses internal components and accelerates wear. Quality of installation matters; cross-threaded connections, overtightened components, or poor sealing cause early failures even with quality fixtures.
Cheap faucets often fail within 3 to 7 years, sometimes much sooner. The internal cartridges in budget fixtures use lower-quality materials and tighter tolerances that wear out quickly. Replacement parts for budget brands are often unavailable when needed, forcing complete fixture replacement after relatively short service life. Plumb Medic recommends investing in quality fixtures from established manufacturers for better long-term value. Our installation work supports the full warranty period of premium faucets, often 10 years or more on parts. Customers who choose quality fixtures and professional installation typically enjoy decades of reliable service. The math strongly favors quality over budget alternatives.
Most customers buy their faucet before scheduling installation, which gives several advantages. You can shop at your preferred retailer, compare options, and select exactly the model and finish you want. Online research lets you read reviews, compare prices, and find the best deal. Bringing the faucet to the installation appointment ensures we install the exact fixture you chose. Plumb Medic installs faucets purchased anywhere, including big-box stores, plumbing supply houses, and online retailers. We do not require purchasing through us.
Pre-installation verification helps prevent problems on installation day. Checking that the faucet matches your sink’s mounting hole configuration is the most important step. Counting the supply lines, sprayers, and accessories ensures the package contains everything needed. Reading the installation instructions before our visit helps you understand the work involved. Plumb Medic can do a brief pre-visit if you have questions about compatibility, though most customers handle selection themselves successfully. We are happy to make recommendations during scheduling calls if needed.
Some customers prefer Plumb Medic to provide the faucet as part of the installation. We work with quality manufacturers and can source good fixtures at competitive prices. This approach simplifies the project and ensures component compatibility. Warranty coordination is easier when one company handles both supply and installation. The total cost is sometimes higher than buying retail, but the convenience and integrated service appeal to many customers. Either approach works fine for us. The most important thing is getting a quality faucet installed properly, regardless of where it came from. Our work is backed by warranty on the installation labor in either case.
